I wonder that why in cpq2, some mobs (such as soul teddy, master soul teddy, death teddy), which are not immune to heal outside cpq2, are immune to heal. This makes the advantage of cleric in cpq2 cannot be compared to that in cpq1, since in cpq1, both chronos and master chronos are not immune to heal. I think if you change the immune status in cpq2, more clerics will come to play it, since exp in cpq2 is decent. Considering that more and more ppl are choosing to train a cleric for leeching today, this change can make cpq2 more lively.
The biggest issue affecting CPQ2 is that CPQ Vikings are too high level which causes a lot of classes to miss their attacks during the lv51~61ish range. If Vikings level could be lowered, I think a bit more people would feel to do CPQ2 more often. But then again, the people who aren't joining CPQ2 are doing so for a reason. To enjoy grinding in a mob map by themselves(or with a friend) and getting money+gear back while doing so.
This is a problem. The level of vikings is too high. Because of that, not only some ppl cannot attack during lvl51-60, but also one's hp washing char cannot gain exp from vikings. I don't think so. Your argument can also apply to lvl31-50, but there are still many ppl doing cpq1. To level up fast, cpq is the best choice, whereas, there are not many ppl doing cpq2.
What's also frustrating is that when a cleric finally gets to priest and tries to use SR to mob after 18 levels of heal being effectively useless, 3rd job skills are blocked. Why? Even in GMS with KPQ's max level at 30, it didn't block 2nd job skills. Using 1 3rd job skill with 1 SP investment isn't game-breaking. If anything, players will still rely on 2nd job skills for damage and buffs.
Yes, I think it is a problem. I also think that they should make heal work for those mobs not immune to heal anymore. My bishop would level up very hard from lvl61-70 if I didn't have a spearman......
