I have been trying out telecasting for the past week or two. I dont know if its the keyboard or just that my fat fingers are in the way, I just can not land TC consistently, only like 1/5 tries. So after I messed around at ulu2 i found that i can cast genesis at almost x2 speed using the ufo mount from the easter event( donno if this works on other mounts feel free to try it out). How this technique works is you cast genesis, summon the ufo mount anytime during the animation, and right when the gene animation ends, go off the mount you'll be able to cast another genesis right away cancelling out the last gene animation. This could be useful for mages who are struggling to TC and can only 2hit certain monster, but if you can telecast, just dont bother, its a bit of a hassle tbh.
If you can't master telecasting, then you can either sell leech at a lower cost or what I used to do was to scroll my pets and items with speed and jump scrolls, and advertise it in my smega. S> Stormbreaker leech hv max speed and jump From what I see, not many sellers who sell leech with tc can do 100% or even at least more than 50% of the time. Sometimes at the end of their rotation, they will be attacking before the monsters has been spawn.
I've seen buyers at Petri demand their money back because the seller didn't TC, and it's not that infrequent. Idk what the real numerical analysis of TC vs Non-TC in terms of exp, though.
I have a good gaming keyboard from Red Dragon I placed genesis on shift key and teleport on CTRL key 100% telecasting, never miss a telecast However, if I telecast using a cheap non mechanical keyboard or using the laptop key, my telecast is like 20-30% Hope this help
When I just started I grew frustrated not being able to nail it right away, But honestly, it's just a matter of practice! The more you do it, the better you get at it. What really helped me is using X (Teleport) and C (Genesis) as casting keys. Also something worth mentioning, You should be pressing the keys with a slight delay of one another, do not press them both at the same time: X then C , and X again with a direction key to keep moving using teleport. The keyboard type you have might play into how well you can telecast, Mechanical keyboards being preferred by all. Telecasting is not for everyone especially with the uprising meta of one map tree mages, but id say give it a shot and keep practicing, once muscle memory kicks in you will be telecasting effortlessly.
i lock in my wrist or tense up my fingers to make sure i hit the two keys at the exact same time. works like 93% of time. im not sure how quicker the exp for TC vs no TC is. I've watched other BS sell leech and they're more likely to slow down your exp if they - take too much time looting equips -they constantly get knocked off ropes/plats from enemy mobs (skeles/FTP) -they rotate weird -they're using gen to hit 2-3 mobs or they cant 1 shot properly -they dont know max range of gene, so they waste time TPing to the corners/edges of the map Last, even if TC does shave off extra time, I find myself waiting around in the same spot for an extra ~2 seconds anyway for the mobs to spawn again.
