Hi, I have two suggestions regarding the SP Reset Cash items, which I believe would be useful to many: 1. Allow SP to be reallocated to skills from all prior job advancements when using the SP Reset. (Example: Resetting 1 SP from the third job White Knight skill Improving MP Recovery to the first job Swordman skill Iron Body.) Alternately, adjust the item to return SP as level-up SP. Unlike AP, there is no advantage (aside from the current restriction being discussed) to using level-up SP. I believe there is already a mechanism in place by which players are prevented from allocating level-up SP to higher job advancements if there is level-up SP remaining from prior job advancements. 2. Create an SP Reset to work only on core Beginner skills (Three Snails, Recovery, Nimble Feet). I can't see why they shouldn't be resettable. Thanks!
While it might be possible it will be a very complex task and require alot of testing to ensure something as important the SP system doesnt bug out. At this moment we have other things to focus on and it will stay like that for a while. We will see what we can do in the future.
If the fix isn't going to come out soon, would it be possible for staffs to consider taking forum post request and manually adjust characters sp during server check/patch as a temporary solution? For example someone can submit a post under character issue and specify deducting SP from A skill and reallocate to B skill. Then during sc/patch admin would manually adjust the SP accordingly while taking away the respective amount of SPR/nx. If you look it up on forums then you'll see quite a few people have this kind of need and if this is something staffs aim to fix in the future, maybe consider manual adjustment as temporary solution until the actual SPR is fixed.
Doing this manually will probably be quite time consuming, and/or need some code written to ensure we are not over allocating SP to job levels and take into account any unallocated SP etc. We also prefer to avoid doing manual DB changes as much as possible, so probably better to have something in game for this.
