IGN: Vaexys Problem: Partner is unable to use "To Spouse" chat function Details: I had a character name changed recently. My character's name changed from Powdodo to Vaexys. My Partner's character is Leyvia and they cannot use "To Spouse" chat. I suspect this is because her wedding ring still says she's married to Powdodo.
Haha, this issue happened with me and my spouse about a year ago. You will also see the ring you have say that you're married to the old IGN. We "fixed" this by remarrying because our thread went unanswered for a few days and we wanted spouse chat back, and ultimately were able to afford another wedding ticket. I don't think this issue would be fixed outside of a server check (if it was queued to be fixed), and I don't know when another SC is coming. Anniversary event is coming soon, but not sure if that'll be a patch or server check. All the best. EDIT: You can search "spouse" in the forums and see this issue widespread and unaddressed. This is clearly not a priority with the admins, and seems remarrying is your responsibility after name changes.
