Hello people. I and my friend are new to the server I picked a bowman and he picked a thief, And as we're leveling we're hearing more and more about "Hp washing" and how important it is. So my question is, was starting as thieves and bowmen wrong and instead, we should have picked an easier job to start with like a bishop to farm mesos with and leech other characters while gearing them to properly hp wash? Do we have to all start with bishops to not miss on anything, or is there an alternative way that is as easy? Don't get me wrong, I know the "play the job that you enjoy the most and don't care about damage" thing. But I don't want to waste a lot of time leveling my character only to figure out I was doing it all wrong and get upset when I die in HT.
You can still HP Wash to the point where you'll be fine at Horntail if you started off with no funding, but it'll be a bit harder on you. Most people do start off as Bishops because they don't require any funding to level up relatively fast and they don't need anything special other than focusing on magic attack.
@Plenty do you think it is fine for everyone to start as a bishop, isnt that unhealthy for the community?
