Status of current paladins (dps, still underpowered?)

I recently returned to Royals after a year and remember before I left, pallys were regarded as by far the most underpowered class in terms of power, blast attack range, etc.

Are there any pallys out there who can give me some info if this is still the case, or if so, will this be addressed in upcoming patches?

Just became a lvl 30 page and I'm excited to see what this class entails.

 

Still terrible and will continue to be terrible in the new source, unless further changes are made.

 

Isn't it true that Blast will out damage Brandish once the changes are made when it comes to single target damage?

 

Nope. Not even close.

No changes have been made to any classes, including Paladins, since you were last playing.

When the new source eventually comes out, they will be slightly better. Blast range will be improved, especially for 1h, and Heaven's Hammer will have a much shorter cooldown. They will still do much worse damage than most other classes though.
