Character Name: AssxEater Last thing you did: Had my account unbanned and password/security changed Why do you think you got banned?: I'm not sure, I came back to MapleRoyals about a year ago but forgot my login details, so I spoke with a few GM's and they helped me get my account unbanned and the security changed around since it seems like I got hacked or something. I played for a bit, but then stopped playing and have just recently come back within the past week. Everytime I log in though, the mobs freeze/lag and then I get disconnected saying "Unable to connect to game server". I've tried this on both my Windows 10 computer and Windows 7 computer and have the same results. I've tried all the compatibility settings, redownloading an reinstalling the game multiple times but it keeps happening. I think that when I was unbanned, the GM forgot to change something in the SQL with either the account or mac ban, which is still causing me to get kicked off of the account everytime I log in. Ban message when attempting to log in: Just keep dcing everytime I log in, so I think it's still some sort of ban/something left over from when I was banned. What GM banned you (optional): N/A
Little update - I found out that I only DC when in a map with monsters. It doesn't matter if I just stand there or attack them, I DC after like 5 seconds. I've done everything I could think of on my end to resolve this issue from checking every compatibility option, checking it on 2 different computers, and I even just system restored my one computer to factory settings and downloaded royals to see if that would fix it, but I still DC. The only thing I can think of is something is bugged with my account on the servers side of things, because it's definitely not me. Could a GM please check over my account to make sure I'm fully unbanned, or everything checks out.
Today after I system restored one of my computers. I've downloaded and reinstalled the current version probably 3-4 times already... Is it possible for you to upload to a different mirror? Maybe my download is fucking up and not completely downloading the whole installer, causing my map.wz or mob.wz to be corrupt/not complete. It's either that, or...Maybe something bugged on my account.
have you uninstalled and deleted every maplestory / mapleroyals file you have on your system and tried redownloading and installing in its own folder?
I’ve used the uninstaller that comes in the mapleroyals folder, deleted the folder, again.. system formatted my computer so there would be nothing but the regular computer drivers and mapleroyals on it and still nothing. Could you please check over my account and make sure everything checks out, or upload your mob.wz and map.wz for me to download please
I checked your character and it should be fine, I moved you to henesys so there wont be mobs as you log in, perhaps you could try now?
It’s fine when im in a town or map without mobs like the FM. Im out buying another laptop right now so I can (hopefully) play royals without my current one sounding like it wants to blast off into space. I’ll try when I get home. I know this isnt apart of your job as being a GM but could you please upload those two wz files for me to download if movng my character didn’t work?
Logged in, walked around Henesys for a minute, was able to talk to NPCs with no lag at all.. Entered HHG1 and instantly lagged then DC'd in about 5-10 seconds.
Just tried it out on my new laptop and still the same thing... It was a clean install of MapleRoyals, nothing else on the computer. Can you check the Mac ban section on the database too, It must be something with my IP/MAC cause this is happening on 3 different computers on the same account.
Alright, it's definitely something with my IP or MAC. I just made a new account on my new laptop and was killing mobs in Maple Island perfectly fine. I logged off and hopped onto my gaming computer and then instantly started DCing again. So I feel like it's something with my MAC or IP. If I PM you these two pieces of information, can you check to make sure they're not listed as banned?
if your mac or ip is banned you wouldnt even be able to log in. if this happens on different computers as well that confirms its not your mac as well.
