Hi guys, I've got past experience with dexless assassin's and it works great. But what about STRless hunters? Is it worth it? Thanks.
The point of being statless is for you to concentrate on your main stat. To equip the dragon shiner bow you need 115 strength. Your major issue is the following: No Helm for strength scrolls, you would have to chaos. You use overalls not top and bottom. Scrolls are not str friendly, lots of chaos MoN>HTP for ATK classes Although 115 str is much lower than 150 dex most assassins gun for regarding DPS, it's much harder to get as you have less flexible options. Is it worth? Well 115 str translates (Roughly, depends on totals of str/WA but just for argument sake) 23 weapon attack. 22 str helm (Scar would be a better option for this) 5 str mon 3+ str krex ring Event rings that you may have available, if you dont your option is RoA. Belt +5 str (black) Medal +2 Overall-??? Some people may suggest overall str scrolls, but it kind of defeats the purpose. I would imagine you could get a 9 str clean one. Spec goggles-?? Maple leaf-??
No it's not worth it (in the end) because you don't need as much STR as an Archer as Thieves need DEX. In the end a proper lv100/110 bow will always outdmg the last STR-less Lv77 Maple Bow.
I don't think it's possible to wear nisrock/shiner with 4 base str unless you got some powerful STR overall, and in this case you'd better just get a DEX overall instead (since they are cheaper and easier to scroll) Also once you get to around lvl 196-197 you can't add past 999 dex so you'd eventually have 23 base STR anyway
