In the new source, beginners are no longer able to put AP into HP or MP. This is of course to protect new players from messing up their stats, however the overwhelming majority of royals players has played Maplestory before, so they are well aware of what stats are good. In the new source there is also the following pop-up when you try to raise HP or MP (on a non-beginner) Spoiler which should be more than enough protection for our player base. EDIT: Only beginners below level 20 can't put AP into HP and MP, I think you should be able to do so at any level though, so the point of this thread remains.
I believe this is a new client limitation that we were unaware of that came with v0.83 and would require some reverse engineering to remove the restriction. @Karven
