As you know, some equips can be only be worn by male or female characters. Most of these equips have an equivalent version for the other sex with the same stats. Some equips however, have higher stats for one of the sexes, while some equips don't have a comparable version for the other sex at all. For people who care about their stats, this is very frustrating, because they may have chosen the 'wrong' sex to be optimally strong for their class. In my opinion, your stats should not be dependent on the sex you choose during character creation. There are several ways in which equips can be made fair: Allow people to wear male and female equips. Change the stats of the equips that differ, and add the equips that don't exist at all. Allow people to turn male equips into female equips and vice versa. I would like to hear what you think about this issue, and which solution you like most, or if you have a solution of your own. Below is an incomplete list of items with stats that are not available for the other sex at the same level. The equips marked in red have differences in the main stat for that class. The equips marked in dark-yellow differ in the secondary stat of that class. These two are the most important in terms of damage. As you can see, there are quite a few of these, some of which are even end-game equips. The most noteable examples are the lvl 100 warrior bottoms, and lvl 90 and lvl 100 warrior tops. The female ones have str and dex, while the male ones have str and acc. Some lower level equips like the lvl 35 female thief overalls are quite popular but do not have a male counterpart. (I had trouble reading your table so I laid it out here). Generally speaking, Female tops are either better in STR (greens), or have better DEX at the expense of accuracy (which, depending on if you need DEX for the ST or not could be important, not that anyone scrolls tops for dex). Female equips (at least these ones) also NPC for quite a bit more, making up for potentially harder to farm *due to location*, but looking at these examples, cornians are probably farmed more than brexton, for example.. sooo. Going by the warrior example, I feel like most warriors by 100 don't have accuracy or DEX issues, and want STR, where females in this example have the upper hand. I'm not really defending it (there's TONS of examples), but between drop locations and stats, it feels kind of equal in some senses. Not to mention, some of the more annoying female drops (female rogue tops) recently got an EXP buff, which means they should be more common if people train there, but there also has to be a market for it (level 70 equips aren't as good as level 80 for example). I won't speak to the market for scrolled female equips, but I struggle to sell any that aren't robes. Last time this was brought up, I thought maybe the best solution is halving the drop rates of all equips and filling that empty space with the corresponding female equip (to the best of the availability, some don't have an alternative, like the low level warrior overall for female). Makes it harder to farm any one equips, but makes them universally more available.
i'd like to add that for female thieves its tougher to get good equipment ulu1 and ulu2 are great farming/leeching spots and the equips they drop are farmed to oblivion the red pirate top and pants drop for lv80 male thieves here, which is usually a thief's choice of endgame armor so theres a much larger supply of male thief armor than female thief armor due to ulu1 and ulu2 being such a popular spot to farm even owling the armor, female lv80 clothing for thiefs seems to be more expensive as well
