I've been spending a lot of time in Mu Lung/Herb Town recently. For those who never go there or maybe haven't been there recently, there is an NPC named Mr. Do who is able to create potions and scrolls. The potions are almost all Mu Lung-specific items, which is fine, but the scrolls are all just basic 100% weapon scrolls which can easily be bought from NPCs without any hassle, and are not useful once you're level 50-60ish. The work required to have Mr. Do create these scrolls is pretty disproportionate to the reward, so I assume nobody ever utilizes his services.

I propose that other scroll options be added to Mr. Do's repertoire. Currently, to make a 100% scroll, Mr. Do requires that you provide him with 100 "Mr. Do marbles" (you acquire these by donating stacks of etc items from around Mu Lung/Herb Town) and 10 of various ores. This is already pretty steep, as a stack of 100 etc pieces doesn't grant you many marbles in return (I've only tried with red belts and it returns 13 marbles per 100 belts, not sure if other items will give more marbles). For having to do so much work in order to get scrolls, I don't think it would be game-breaking or economy-ruining to add in 10/60 scrolls for a higher fee. Perhaps more marbles, plus something more than ores? Perhaps make that "something else" items that one would need to travel for, like etc pieces from deep ant tunnel, omega sector, KFT, etc. I personally don't even see the harm in adding 30% scrolls for a steeper price.

Mr. Do's current asking rate for a 100% spear scroll is 100 Mr. Do marbles and 10 steel ores. So for example, to make a 60% spear scroll, Mr. Do might ask for the following:
    - 300 Mr. Do marbles
    - 30 steel ores
    - 100 tiger skins

Perhaps a 30% spear scroll might be something like:
    - 500 Mr. Do marbles
    - 100 steel ores
    - 300 tiger skins
    - spear forging manual

Since the cost in time to collect these items is still pretty high (honestly, I think the marble requirements here might still be too steep), I don't think this would harm the economy. I do think it would a.) give players who like to quest something to do, b.) bring more people to Mu Lung (especially since Dojo is supposed to be in the works, this would give players something else to do while in Mu Lung), c.) give options for players to create scrolls that are harder to find (like 30% bows scrolls which aren't dropped by anything according to bbb hs). ...This part might an unpopular opinion, but I personally wouldn't even be against things like chaos scrolls being craftable if the requirements were incredibly steep, like requiring 2000 marbles along with some eyes of fire, pieces of dimension, etc.

I realise that this would take some work to implement, so perhaps it will be seen as not worth the effort, but since Mr. Do already provides this service it seems it would be harder to come up with the requirements for each scroll than to code it. Anyway, it is just a suggestion I was thinking of while spending my time in Mu Lung. Thanks for reading through all of this.
