I'm sure that this has been brought up before, but I was just wondering whether its more feasible with the new source or not. As a thief, so many of our equips look really cool, especially helmets, and I'd love to wear one over my zhelm rather than like a nx baseball cap lol. Also, just to make these nx versions a bit more "goal oriented", make it so that in order to wear the nx version, you must still have the class and lvl requirements. Cause idk but lvl 10s running around with stonetooths is a bit silly. Is this possible? Or if it is would it just take a reeeaaalllyyy long time to add stuff?
Mmm...in that case, wearing or not wearing the cash item (assuming for the hat category) doesn't make a difference right? Since either you wear or not, it will still prevail as a zakum helmet? :O I'm confused.
Ah, I'm still not sure how I feel about transmog - both in WoW and here. On one hand, I like the idea. On the other hand, I don't. While typing this post, I think I countered my own arguments against it for the most part, and I think it could be a nice feature in Maple, BUT ONLY if it doesn't affect weapons - only armor. And, of course, you'd have to meet the requirements of the gear you want to use as a mask. Preferably, you'd also have to actually obtain it in-game I have an argument about choosing between appearance or power, but I'm not sure how well that holds here
It would purely be cosmetic. I don't see why anyone would be against it. The only issue I see is if it is even possible.
There's been a lot of discussion about something like this, but I'm not sure if there's been any suggestions on how it would be implemented. E.g. Would these literally just be items you can buy in the cash shop? Or would it be an NPC that would require the original item, some crafting materials, and NX to turn one into a cash one? etc.
Fusion Anvil? NX item you buy from the CS. It was even suggested that you could make it a donor item.
My suggestion in the other thread. Combining the item with it being a meso sink and you actually requiring to have the item in the first place.
Yeah we can't add Fusion anvil into a v0.83 client though since it came later. So we wouldn't be able to have the UI for it or anything.

So, on the other server it is called transmog. Basically, you talk to an npc and it creates an nx version of rthe item that you want. It doesnt work exactly like the GMS anvil system, but it's pretty close, arguably better. This could be done by using dp or even just an amazing meso sink. It could even require certain items from random places. Accidentally posted in the other thread. Whoops.
