Hey guys! My name is Joseph, but people call me Joe Vo. I am 22, 100% Vietnamese, and currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan as a US Marine. I am also a member of the fraternity, Lambda Phi Epsilon, my chapter being at UMass Amherst. Just thought I'd throw that all out there in case anybody could relate and wanted to be friends haha. I love hip-hop, r&b, edm, karaoke, drinking, MAPLESTORY, building computers, travelling, etc. I started playing two days ago with a couple friends who could never nearly appreciate the old GMS as much as I do, but I hope to enlighten them. I played from beta to right before the infamous Big Bang Patch. I created an I/L mage with the IGN of Vi3tArchMaGe as a tribute to my old character! I used to hustle the market a lot to make some money and I ended up quitting because I was still getting KS'd with godly equipment for my level (92?) mage. My favorite things about the old Maple Story were the community, being a PQ rushing god in Kerning as well as Ludi, BASILMARKET!!, grinding for hours, KS wars in FoG and at zombies, owning a second division of a guild that my god brother made, saving up lunch money for two weeks in middle school to buy $20 NX, etc. Some of these things won't be here due to the smaller scale community but that's alright with me! I had at least 7 characters past level 70 but never any higher than my I/L Mage. I hope to experience the end game, and am quite excited for the grinding to get hard. I have been thinking about Maple Story for the past couple of years and I saw this server before and was turned away from the 10x exp (ew.). As soon as I saw that it was 4x, it was a no brainer. I didn't think this nostalgia would be so much fun!! I hope to bring as many old school Maplers into the server as I can; I have quite a few acquaintances on Facebook that miss it all. I hope to get deep into the community that makes this server wonderful, make video content eventually, and give back to the community.
