SUP. For now, I'll introduce myself as Godafoss. Although that obviously isn't my real name. I'm from The Netherlands and I've played Maplestory since.. 2008 or something I think. (not entirely sure, since before EMS's first birthday, at least) But Maplestory has gotten worse and worse, in my opinion. I loved the Big Bang update after it came out, but it all went downhill from there. Potential, enhancements, etc etc., the game became more and more pay to win, which in the end annoyed me so much that I just didn't have any fun in the game anymore, despite being in an amazing guild with amazing people. I just can't have fun if I have to either spend months merching or hundreds of euros to get decent damage. All this time, I've just been longing for the old, pre-Big Bang Maplestory. The days where I didn't know all the ins and outs of the game. The days where it wasn't all pay to win. The days when there was so much left to explore. The days of a noob. Even though I'm of course much more knowledgable now than I was back then, I still feel like playing old school Maplestory could give me much more happiness than playing the current version. Sometimes, the basics are just the best, and I feel like that is definitely the case with Maplestory. If you want to know stuff about me, just ask. o/ I love making friends anywhere I go, and this won't be an exception. I've read stuff about a great community being here, so I hope that wasn't a lie. (; Also, are PQ's alive in this server? I really feel like doing tons of KPQ, LPQ, OPQ, GPQ and all that jazz. (and maybe some LMPQ, we never had that in EMS but people always talked about it like it was the holy grail) tl;dr: Yo. o/
We have quite a number of PQs that are working, although slightly buggy, because of an issue with the timer. CPQ, AmoriaPQ, GuildPQ, KPQ, LPQ and LMPQ all work. CPQ is probably the buggiest, but also the most popular, and works well enough to be functional. OPQ and HenesysPQ are extremely buggy, wouldn't suggest doing them. Ariant PQ is also too buggy to be worth doing.
I think I've played EMS with you in the past; the name Godafoss is far too familiar for me (I don't remember many people naming themselves after Icelandic waterfalls ). Anyways, I'm a Dutchie from EMS as well, feel free to add my I/L named Zohan if you want. In terms of nostalgia, this server is pretty damn good
