The purpose of making this thread is to accomplish a few things...
    1. To make known to buyers how to differentiate a good and better service;
    2. To find out from anyone what the ideal or perfect rotation around a map is;
    3. My buddies and buyers recommended me to do this as they get quite upset at majority of their buys.

Telecasting has been done for quite a long time by some of the veteran players here in Royals (or even in official server) but recently it has become a popularity among leech buyers and sellers probably because of the thread started by @PhotonSphere (Thread by him).

Recently, I have been hyper concerned by the leech prices that people are selling because newer players who want to buy a service might not get the most out of their already limited mesos and also how some slack leechers are getting away with their high prices but giving such awful EXP to their buyers (who may be unaware that the EXP is awful too). Right now, I do not have good estimates like exp tables etc. to determine the EXP a buyer should get at a given map at a given level because there can be quite a variance.

Just to give a gist of why I am concerned. This is purely from my observation by asking my buyers how much EXP they usually get per hour or how much EXP they receive in the previous hour. Please do not flame me for data biasness because I ain't got the time to show very accurate numbers.
-For a lv120 (split) at Petri/Skele, an average buyer would gain around 100-120%/hr while my buddies and I gave 130-150%/hr
-For a lv105 (split) at Petri/Skele, an average buyer would gain around 220-240%/hr while my buddies and I gave 270-300%/hr
-For a lv90 (split) at Ulu2, an average buyer would gain around 250-300%/hr while my buddies and I gave 370-400%/hr
In general, telecast ≈ 1.2x average (This may vary from map to map)

For linearity, an average Petri split price of 70m should be 84m+ for telecasting, an average ulu2 split price of 40m should be 48m+ for telecasting. Some of you might say 'well that's only a few million mesos difference'. I do agree, but hey, I am sure that some of you buyers tried to ask for a 5m discount and you get ignored.

In my opinion, telecasting should NOT be a norm or set as a standard/pre-requisite because it is tiring as hell and could possibly reduce the long hours down to short hours. But this could be good for sellers who want to improve themselves and also informative to buyers who want to get the most out of their mesos and also save time to reaching their target levels.

I will continue editing this thread to show recommended movements around popular maps as well as the difference telecasting makes and hope you could try them yourselves. As of now, I've only got...

    Telecasting at Ulu2 by @Venin

3-spot gene/bliz/met. The map is large enough to be a 3-spot map rather than a 2-spot. Since the animation for gene/bliz/met is around 4-teleport period and that 4-teleport is half the map size, the gene/bliz/met should cover left, center and right.

    Non-telecasting at Ulu2 by @Venin

This rotation is a generic rotation. It decent for someone who does not choose or does not know how to telecast. As long as there are minimal pauses in between actions it should be fine.

    Telecasting at Ulu2 by @PhotonSphere

2-spot gene/bliz/met. A less exhausting and less energy consuming telecasting rotation. It takes advantage of immediate spawn into gene/bliz/met. If executed slightly off perfection, the spawns might mess up a little. However, if you are able to get back the momentum, it surely is rewarding.
    Telecasting at Petri by @PhotonSphere

The newest addition to petri rotation with telecasting. This is significantly better than the 2 rotations below as in really makes use of taking down immediate spawns. Because of this, the delays between each gene/bliz/met is reduced such that it kills roughly about 10-15% more Petrifighters than the rotations below. The overall net increase is around 20% which truly reflects the general impact of telecasting.

    Telecasting at Petri by @PurePoisonXD

There is minimal platform switching since since climbing ropes/ladder will cause delays between gene/bliz/met. If the switch were to be done often, the delays accumulate and they slowly add up. The video shows a very systematic approach with a very obvious pattern style. Adopting such methods will improve consistency greatly since there is minimal random movements.

    Telecasting at Petri by @Venin

This is a more haphazard approach to the rotation above. It has some randomness to it but the general idea still is the same - minimal platform changing so as to decrease the delay accumulation. Because of the slight disorderliness, the deviations from a systematic path could possibly cause telecasting failures.

Please be clear that I am not out here to achieve telecasting being a norm. There are still non-telecasters who do fantastically without it and I would go back to them again if I am sick of leeching my own. My primary aim is for the slackers who over charge who obviously don't deserve it, to lose out since in my book, that's a form of "soft scamming" or at least for buyers to receive what you actually paid for with your hard earned mesos.

Also, if you would like to have your efficient non-telecasting or telecasting methods showcased here, please do not be afraid to do so! Who knows what we thought were the best might not be the best after all.

Here is my ULU2 2-spot telecasting video for comparison

I messed up telecasting twice since I am not as pro as Venin and cannot do it 100%. However, the 2 mistakes didn't cause me to miss any spawn timers, so I didn't lose any EXP from them.

I didn't show timer in the video, because my recording software only records one window. But you can confirm from the video timer that it's indeed a 3-minute session.

All numbers below assume 3-minute session, 1-person party, and no HS like Venin did (6,080 EXP from Veetron and 8,000 exp from Slygie)
    • No telecasting: 88007908 - 85677604 = 2330304 EXP
    • 2-spot telecasting (my video): 123784101- 120953317 = 2830784 EXP (21.5% more than no telecasting)
    • 3-spot telecasting: 85677604 - 82741860 = 2935744 EXP (26% more than no telecasting)

Edit: These are the EXP that the seller gets, not the EXP that buyers get. But the % difference should be the same.

Venin is correct that 3-spot telecasting is faster than 2-spot telecasting in ULU2. But 2-spot telecasting causes a lot less stress since you only need to telecast half of the time.

Thanks for making this thread! I just started selling petri leech on my I/L, so I would love to see your petri rotation :D

Made a few mistakes in this video but here's pretty much what I do:
Seeing how you're telecasting 100% of the time, I'm pretty sure you'd give more than ~300% for a level 105 at Petris since I remember giving ~300% myself back when I was selling leech.

Nice thread! I pretty much exclusively sell petri now on my I/L but once my F/P gets to 130 I’ll have to get as good as you at 3-spotting Ulu2 :p

Question though, I see that you all use Spell Booster, but does it actually improve the cast time at all for mage ultimates? Because I feel like it doesn’t do anything o.o

@PurePoisonXD Thanks for the video, my rotation is pretty similar to yours but I find myself switching between the two middle platforms more often so I can clear the spawns on the top most platform more. However in doing this I waste a bit of time going up the rope/ladder each time, so I’m not sure whether this time is better utilized by spending more time telecasting on the lower middle platform like you do in your video.

I just finished an hour leech for my mule and it received around 33mil+ exp (295%) and that is with my lv200 mage so I'm guessing I get around 300% with a lower level mage. My rotations are similar, if not then exactly the same as yours actually :D

Yes it does reduce cast time. If you stop using Spell Booster, you will realise that your telecasting slows down and you get a little annoyed that it failed.

And yes, you figured it out about the platform switching.

Did an hour split with a 105 and 134 following your rotation and keeping Spell Booster up 100% of the time, the 105 (was at 30% originally) gained ~280% (~32m xp). Tried to 100% telecast as well as I could but still got stuck a quite few times unfortunately especially towards the end of the hour.

Anyways thanks for helping me improve as a petri leecher! I hope more sellers who want to improve see this thread :D
And of course buyers who want to know what degree of xp gains they can expect from a telecasting seller~

I'm smashing my keyboard like crazy but I can't telecast properly, only about 30% of the time.

ANY TIPS!? HOTKEY POSITIONING, ANYTHING. Using cheap bootleg keyboard btw.

Just recently hit 130 with a f/p. Unfortunately failed my first meteor 30 so I can't quite 100% 1-shot Ulu 2, but I'm working towards the next one.

How do you guys typically manage looting on Ulu 2? Curious about petris as well, but it'll be a while until I'm selling a leech there. I can telecast consistently, but I'm just curious as to how often you loot the platform you're not standing on or if you have a preferred method (i.e. looting the top when you go up to holy symbol). Any tips in general would be appreciated.

Are you on a laptop Mori? When I first started learning I had a lot of issues using my mechanical keyboard on my desktop, but found that I could easily 90-95% telecast on my laptop while only being 30-40% telecast on my desktop. It might just be personal preference but I find that the 'slim' type keyboards are the easiest to consistently telecast with. For reference I teleport with G and ultimate with D. Don't think it matters too much though, it's mostly about the muscle memory and push timings.

One of the more experienced telecasting Ulu2 sellers might have some better advice than me, but personally I just keep an eye out for RCs and Pirate tops/bottoms on the top platform and mentally make a note to find a time to move up to loot them (I just can't ignore them LOL). I just prefer the bottom of Ulu2, but yes, I would say a good time to move to the upper platform if you have to loot the top is when you reset HS.

For Petri, I let my pet loot everything since everything gets NPCed except decent Nisrocks. You wanna stay between the two middle platforms the entire time, and I don't even look to see what's on the bottom (ground level) or top most platforms at all.

Good luck on your next Meteor 30! I hope it passes :)

And @picknickz, assuming you meant to quote Mori and not me ^_^'

I am assuming you are quite new and still in the funding process. It's all your right to loot the drops when selling leech but how often you do it is up to you.

Recently, I've decided to forego to top lane of ulu2 and the top+bottom lane of petri, with the exception of seeing a craven/nisrock. Sacrificing your drops also means sacrificing bonus drops that may appear in the those lanes, with that, you just gotta outweigh how often you want to go loot the lane and how much you want to charge for the leech at the same time.

For ulu2 specifically, I only went to top lane if I see a craven. That's it. I was sick of smega-ing for buyers because ulu2 was so hard to find them. To increase the number of returning buyers, I had to forego my loots and give them the most exp they could get so they'll return to me for petri/ulu2 and save me time and meso from smega-ing over and over again.

The next one failed :'(! But the one after that passed :D! Now I'm completely broke again...but at least I can 1-shot and sell leech. Here's to marathoning tv shows for the next few weeks....
Thanks for explaining your rationale. Since I'm, as you mentioned, very new and in desperate need of mesos I think I'll try to loot the top when going to rebuff. Hopefully the loss in exp isn't too drastic, since I'm confident in being able to telecast. Another few questions if you don't mind:

    1) Both the attacker and leecher must be HS-ed, not just the leecher right?
    2) Haste mule? HB mule? I made both for training but would they be worth using for selling leech? (It takes an extra 5-15 seconds to click or alt tab to those clients to cast the respective buffs, and not to mention it gets REALLY tedious managing 4 clients).
    3) Even if not using the buffs for the mules, is it worth parking extra characters on the map to increase spawn? I heard this was a thing, but not sure how common.
    4) Do you make an effort to MW10/20 your leechers or is that on a case-by-case basis?

Hopefully these questions are in spirit of what this thread is designed to convey!

    1) Leecher usually means the one selling the leech, but no, you do not have to HS yourself if you don't want to level up.

    2) Haste mule might be worth it but HB mule definitely isn't.

    3) Not quite sure what's the ratio of AFK mules to spawn increase, but if you can afford to park a few mules, go for it. You can also gain from it, no lose.

    4) I usually don't MW at all unless they ask for it, as it saves time.

    +1 to everything.
although language wise, leecher means the one buyer leech, it could and usually also mean the one selling leech.

Scroll down to find a little guide and practice doing it.
