The amount of bugged quests is ruining the experience for me.

Hi all, I made this forum account just to give my feedback on this.

I started MapleRoyals about a week ago now, and since getting into the level 45-55 range, I've noticed countless quests are bugged; most of them being chain quests which renders the chain useless. Questing is big hobby of mine on MapleStory so having so many broken makes me not want to play at all.

I understand that a new source is going live soon and quests won't be fixed until then, but I'm seeing posts from 2016 all the way to 2014 regarding it. Is this actually happening soon? I don't really feel motivated to play until my favourite quests are back and running. Other than that, MapleRoyals seems like a perfect home for me.

 

Yeah, it's kind of disappointing since I know that there's a portion of people who really enjoy quests, and although I personally couldn't give a fuck about 99% of the quests in .62, I still think the option to do them should be available--anything which provides more things to do and opens up the options for different playstyles is a plus in my book. To my knowledge, quests here aren't a priority on the staff's to-do list, and I'm not sure if we've ever been given any concrete date on when to expect the next big update. All I've gathered is that it's supposedly going to be implemented "soon," which, from my experiences with different game developers, is code for any time within the next ten years... so I wouldn't really hold my breath for it, unfortunately.

 

They never mention the word "soon". There is no ETA given to the new source. However, the new source Beta server is the proof of staff's effort in developing it.

I agree that bugged quest is a disappointment. The only things we can do is check via the forum whether the quest works, before proceding to do it.

 

Most of them are not on the list. Would you like me to post the ones I've found that don't work?

 

Have you checked the comments in that thread?
I know there should at least be some bugs reported that was never put on the list.
