So was wondering why the server keeps freezing at the same time everyday? It freezes around 10:45pm PST. Which at this time all the admins are sleeping because they are in a different timezone. This sucks for me, because that's like the only time I've been playing at recently. Is there a long term solution for this issue? Hate to be "that guy" bugging anyone about this, was just curious if anyone had some insight.
I hardly think that a daily server freeze is something trivial. Was meaning to point out that it's done this at this time every day for the last three days. Some of the older players might remember that the server used to do this about a year ago as well, back when we had a server backup function set to go off at some point over night every night. Possibly a similar cause?
Backups run but they have been running for longer than the lag has been occurring. Additionally, the backups are not scheduled every single day of the week. Several of the days the server froze, there was no backup being run.
