The guild, DirtyDozen, was made to unite 12 people of great character and virtues to become the tightest and closest of homies. We aren't in a rush to get members as we feel having quality members is much more worthwhile than filling up our roster. However, if you are interested please contact any of our members but to be admitted, the decision must come through me, Puddings.

*I'll be saying a lot of shit in here that might drive members away. Remember, nothing is mandatory here. HOWEVER, members who clearly don't show any interest or concern towards the guild or its members will be kicked. Don't waste our space and time.

    Hardboilegg (173 Bishop)
    iSarah (131 Bishop)
    Aaaaaron (80 Hermit)
    Hank (54 Crossbow man)
    Tajtis (63 Assassin)
    Puddings (114 Crusader)

    Character Traits Expected from Members:
Kindness/Compassion/Sensitivity (Don't mistake this for political correctness and superficial politeness, that's not what we're looking for.)
    • Genuine love, concern and compassion for each other. Whether it would be helping with quests, funds, personal issues or etc. We want members who actually love others and will act upon their love.
    • When conversations get more on the serious side, we want members to take the situation and each other seriously and treat each other empathetically.
    • There's a time for soft, warm mushy bonding love and a time for tough love. It is up for members to decide for themselves when tough love should be implemented and all members should expect to receive tough love.
    • Although, we expect members to have a sense of humor and to take in playful name calling and dark, crazy, racist, sexist whatever JOKES with a grain of salt; we will not accept shit that touches personal issues and matters as well as continued banter even when member(s) have clearly stated that you should drop the topic as it makes them upset, uncomfortable, etc.
    • Respect each others' tastes whether it would be music, food, hobbies and.... fetishes. ^^
    Loyalty/Honesty
    • Our motto: Do you wanna ride or die?
    • Be there to vouch for one another but do not defend those who are guilty of illegal activity. Real homies wouldn't put their homies in a pickle, so don't do shit that would put other members at risk.
    • Remember how you act reflects the rest of the guild. We're only as strong as the weakest link. Now that doesn't mean you have to force yourself to be something you're not but at the same time, remember that you represent the rest of the Dozen.
    • Be there for each other thick and thin.
    • Be there for the leader. Being loyal doesn't mean kissing his/her ass. Being loyal means that you have the best intentions for both the guild and the leader so that might mean constructively criticizing the guild leader or calling him or her out.
    • There shouldn't be beef between members in the guild. If there's a problem, confront each other and talk like civilized people and squash that shit ASAP.
    • Although being sensitive is an essential trait, it is necessary to give the bitter truth at times. (Remember these bitter truths are given out of love and concern so take it as advice and not condemnation).
    • Our guild and the members come before other guilds and most other players (some exceptions are allowed).
    Selflessness
    • Give without expecting anything in return.
    • Although, we don't want members to feel like they can't use their own money. If someone is in urgent need of something and you have funds and you're not in dire need of an item, then it's strongly encouraged that you help him/her out.
    • Try to be comfortable with the mindset of "my money is your money. my equips are your equips. I go where you go."
    • If a member needs help, try to make the time and effort to accommodate them.
    • Put their real lives above your maple life.
    Humility
    • Admit your wrongs and short comings.
    • Raise others above yourself.
    • Although being the leader means that you move the guild, that does not mean you are faultless. Any arrogant leaders will be stripped of their ranking and may possibly be kicked out the guild.
Don't let money, levels, nx or any superficial aspect affect how you treat a member.

We have a bit of a different system of hierarchy than all the other guilds. I made this guild with the intention where only the most fit will rule us. Although I'm the current guild leader, if there are others who are more capable to lead the guild, I will step down.
As of right now the hierarchy goes...
    • Head Chief
    • Chief Major
    • Chief
    • Chief Minor
    • Queef
Ideally, the guild should be politically structured as a sociocracy but to maintain that type of system would be difficult to manage with 12 people. So our guild will have two branches of government, Head Chief being a Presidential figure and the Chief Majors being the Congressional figure.

As of right now, all members were instantly graduated to the rank (jr) Chief Major. However, new members will be required to start as a Queef and will be promoted to the next rank when they meet and chat with a new member. Saying, "Hi" does not count, be social.

A call for a new leader is always welcome as long as it is not abused and the current leader should not take offense to this. However, reasonable and logical arguments must be made in order for the voting process to take place. There must be at least a 3/4 (8/12) vote for the current leader to be replaced. The current leader will have the remainder of the day to sort things out and take care of unfinished business before he/she falls back into place as a Chief Major.

We realize that having 12 members is both too much and too little. It would be much more relaxing to be able to add a few more members but that could easily turn into a slippery slope and the last thing we want to do is spread ourselves too thin. Managing a group of 12 people is much harder than it seems to be and it would require all members to be vigilant.

We have a possible three members joining our crew within the next week or so, so our first election will start within 1-2 weeks from now. I am thinking about barring myself from being nominated in the first official term.

Members who are "dead" will be removed from the guild and will be regarded as affiliated entities. Do not take offense to this. Shit didn't change, we just need to have the guild filled with active members. I am debating on making a secondary guild where members can place their other characters and affiliated entities.

HeadQuarters will be at the ore refinery at Kerning City.

Just to close this off. The moment that our guild loses its sense of family, the DirtyDozen is dead. And remember, we don't stop at the guild, we're here to help everyone out at Royals.

Grovsnus, Aaaaaron, Hank, and HardBoilEgg will be removed from the guild for inactivity and relocated into Affiliated Entities. Nilo is an Affiliated Entity now.

Sounds like a true family, loved the description. Though don't like the name (personal opinion)

The name is a tribute to the rap group, D12. Are you interested in joining the guild?

    Hey,
I'm starting to think we need ti improve things about the guild. I'll start spitballing ideas and whenever our members log in, we can say yay or nay as the weeks go on.
This guild is supposed to be (from what I've been told) a group of people that are helpful to e eryone near and far.
Just to start and I know some of you might hate this..... but I have a few suggestions To get the ball rolling. I'll explain each point as well.

    1) Change the name

Now you might be thinking that that's the dumbest idea ever. iSLAY brought it up and I kind of thought about it and it makes sense.
We're a "helping" guild (or we will be when we start making some gainz) and we're called "DIRTYdozen". That doesnt make much sense.
A name that's more generalized that has a good meaning i.e. RoyalsPatrons

2)Increase the size of the guild

I'll pay for it but my reasoning is that 12 people can't help much with a 500+ member community.
I LOVE small guilds but I think we should cap at 20-40. Also because I'm on every day and even though school is in session, I'm on with all of 2 people at a time and that's usually the max.
on top of that, it's hard to host events within the guild (which is another point later on) if there's all different people at all different levels. I mean, we will get there eventually but as of right now, we can't do anything but sir in the free market and chat.

    3) Create a better guild in text

I can do this also if it's given the Yes or No.
What I mean by this is

    a) Create a better application, one that looks professional that someone can copy and paste and fill in the blanks. Etc.

    b) a stronger description of our role as Royalers no matter how corny that sounds.

    c) a subcategory with all of our timezones in the description with our charcaters names just so people know who and when their general game play times are.

    d) a weekly update section for accomplishments from everyone in the guild where either our leader makes all the entries OR players can individually enter what they feel was an accomplishment.

    e) a set of strict rules that we must follow.
don't know what those would be but again general I. E. No profanity but please don't make that one because I have a vulgar vocabulary at times.

    f) a roster
something that shows all our levels and classes to all looking at our site. Updated weekly so you don't have to keep changing it daily which would be a pain in the ass.

    4)Events

events typically bring guilds closer together. Usually it's boss runs or fighting together. At the moment we can't really do this but eventually once we all reach higher levels (I know I'm grinding) we can attempt at some sort of event styled thing.

    5) Communication

you guys already brought it up but another way of communicating off game.
I'm not a huge fan of it but i can always open myself up to new things. it wouldn't have to be mandatory but we'd leave an option for it. kind of like what you guys are doing with Skype right now.
I just think I'd need something easily accessible by my phone because that's the only thing I always have on hand.
not sure if the Skype app is on my phone but I'll definitely try it out.

This is just food for thought and hopefully you guys look at it and leave suggestions etc.
Theo, you do in good but change that God awful forum pic. It almost scared me away it was so damn ugly. Ahaha.

    Cheers guys and gals.

Chris, thank you again for your proactive-ness and your honest, constructive criticism.

And here is my response to what you have to say...

I can see where people are coming from on this issue. I'm a BIT reluctant to change this name as I picked it with great care and love and NUSTULGIUH and I picked the 12 member cap to fit the name but it also seemed like a great number of guildies so... I was thinking of doing something I planned on doing before. Making two guilds. DirtyDozen will remain as is, member cap and name. The second guild will have a more friendlier name (I was thinking of naming a guild: "gilled" but I don't think y'all would be happy with that) and you guys can suggest what that should be named. And we essentially have them allianced. So we have the second guild be more free flowing and less structured. Member cap would be 20-25 like we said. If this doesn't work out, then I'll be more open to having the name and the member cap changed. And later on, we can alliance with more guilds once new source comes out. And yeah, I can see where you're coming from about our guild meetings, fm does get a little... monotonous.

In regards to (a).... This is actually a good idea, but I still would like to interview them personally as well. Please give me some info we should ask for.

In regards to (b).... I guess I went in depth about our roles to each others were and our character traits but not really as royalers. I will sit on this and ask you guys for suggestions.

In regards to (c).... Word up

In regards to (d).... That's actually a great idea, making it more family oriented

In regards to (e).... I think I sort of went over that in the essential traits and such. Having a strict set a rules seems a little daunting and restricting, I guess being open-minded and flexible/tolerating is more family oriented? But then again, I'm not too sure what the rules you have in mind are, so tell me some of the rules you have in mind. And don't worry, DirtyDozen is safe haven for people who want to exercise their free speech (but toxic members will get the guillotine).

In regards to (f).... Word up

I am working towards. Which is why I'm not focusing on leveling puddings right now. But we can only go so fast as we are all busy with different schedules.

I think having a place outside of maple is good as members might want to deepen their relationship and it's also good for members who are away for a while but still want to remain close. I'm not keen on voice calling and video calling but I think I rather stick to just chat for myself. Other members are fine to do whatever they want. And Skype has both a computer and phone application.

Ty bb, ily, and your post made me moist (I will change it).
