About 3k in NX + Giftcards. Thats not even 1/5 of the reality.... I'm KingFog. My Name is Danny. I am a maple addict
On EMS I knew plenty of people who paid over 3k euro a year for nx, which gave you less nx than if you were to spend 3k euro on GMS. (Nexon EU loved us too much )(If you wanted to play, you were forced to pay D: )
I was like this too. And it's one of the reasons I decided to make this server... To help me and others stop the addiction of throwing money and time at greedy Nexon.
You would think that it would feel really different playing a private server. It feels majestic to finish a trash gach run and remember I didn't actually lose anything
I'll just leave this here Spoiler I pretty much took EMS as an expensive hobby so I didin't care much. I regret nothing. I had really blast time but I'm happy to be here
I played both gMS and eMS, but I never ever spent real-life cash on either of them. But then again... I was a little kid and I wanted to buy candy and stuff instead
Makes me realize if I get all the money back I spend on Maple.. I could buy a new Honda Civic. Good thing I'm not a Honda fan
It's all about self control. Back in the day, id buy it occasionally, but only at $10 at a time, sometimes 25. It's not that hard to realize that you're spending money on a game that has no impact on you whatsoever in real life. Compare it to food, would you rather have $25 of virtual items, or a bunch of chicken wangs
In the later years self control would get you to henesys and no further sadly, playing without paying was really hard
I'm really glad I quit GMS before I got myself a job because God knows how little money I had being spent in NX.
If you got in with the right people, you didn't really have to pay. I was totally unfunded and my guild master (Demon Slayer) leached me at HoH until 206. Could have gone further but it got boring.
the problem was that my friends went for server first chaos root abyss, so the requirements to play with them were rly high.. and because I didn't want to pay a lot of money, I had to watch from a distance. The only thing I got to do is strategize for them.
