I made this for my fellow quest enthusiasts trying to finish the "The Secret Operation" Shanghai quest that requires killing Giant Centipede. Look at this arrogant bastard. The first thing worth mentioning is that monsters that look like Giant Centipede spawn in several maps near the town in Shanghai, but killing these guys (which I suspect are just bugged? ha so punny) will not get you the red marble item drop necessary to finish the quest. Killing the "proper" one requires getting to a map called Scary Valley, as referenced in the area boss guide here. In order to get to Scary Valley, start by following the instructions given to you by the police chief in town and talking to a series of police NPCs/murdering some innocent black sheep in order to get to an intermediate map called The Path. Yes, this is potato quality; no, I don't care. Refine and upload your version below if you feel strongly about it. Here you will encounter a maze/jump quest similar to Utah's Pig Farm, where you need to do a combination of jumping/climbing around and hitting the Up arrow key at the appropriate times to activate hidden portals to progress through the map. When I was doing this quest, I couldn't find a map guide anywhere, so here's mine. Red lines indicate where you need to teleport from->to in order to progress. The yellow circles indicate where you should be standing when you Up arrow. Gray Xs indicate teleport spots to avoid, as they take you backwards (sometimes to the beginning of the map). Thanks for the potato quality map , it really helps! And before you enter The Path. Clear all the quest in Shanghai, the last quest should be "The Secret Operation". Talk to Officer Lim (Mountainous Region II), then talk to Officer Chung (The Land of Black Sheep). After that, you'll be sent to The Path.
