Closed There are many bugs with this forum, here are some I have found so far

I believe most of these aren't bugs, but in any case I'll respond to each of your concerns.

1. You have to wait at least thirty seconds between posting things. Where your seven hundred and fifty seconds come from I have no idea.
2. Are you sure you have no unread message? Is there no conversation marked unread in your lists of conversations?
3. Once more I wonder if you're certain: I've never had it misbehave before.
4. This would have to do with your browser's input settings (or indeed that of your operating system).
5. All users have the ability to change their privacy settings in order to, for example, remove their profiles from public view.
6. I find that in the conversations I've taken part in, the newest message is at the bottom.

 

Number five certainly isn't a bug: it's a feature of the forum software. As for the rest I would find it helpful if you could, say, provide screenshots or some thorough explanations in order to aid me in investigating the issues.

 

Having communicated with Katsuruka to get more details of when and where some of the above occurred (which, apparently, was around six hours ago) I'm inclined to believe that your forum perusal happened to coincide with some of the daily clean up tasks the forum database undergoes.

If this is the case, it would mean that it is unlikely to happen again, save for occasionally during the (British) wee hours, and even when it does happen it should resolve itself in short order.
