Introduction Hi, I don't know if I'm the only one but this is something that really bugs me in literally every v62/v83 server e.v.e.r. If you disagree that's fine, I just wanted to know how many people feel this way. Anyway, the thing is, once you reach a certain level (usually 155+) you get to kill Horntail, get this wicked awesome necklace, a few levels later a perfect weapon too and maybe a year or two later a 15+ att cape/stompers. There you are, having your wicked character level 180, with amazing gear killed horntail 100 times, maximized all skills, have a great number of HP, and now what? There's literally nothing left you can do, except for ... Adding +2 attack on that cape. So my suggestion would be.. Add things to look forward to. I'm not the most creative person, so don't take this suggestion too seriously, and look at it as an opportunity rather than a established statement. RANDOM ideas (do not take serious) -Add a progression server that updates in versions V002 to V62/83 (lower rates?) -Add a ''Hell Server'' where it's Basically Royals, except everything is 5 times stronger (but same exp), and gach is 5 times worse (making your journey much longer) -Achievements, e.g. Kill Zakum 100 times to receive a customized 1/1/1/1 Zakum Ring / Achieve 1000 Fame to receive a (v83) celebrity medal. I feel that fits the grindy game. -Stronger Boss options. To fight bosses much stronger up to 200% for different drops. I thought of a lot of ideas, but people will probably say ''It ruins the nostalgia'' (even though we can skip boat rides, press TRADE to go to FM, have smega selling npc's and free NX) If you have got any ideas to adding things to look forward to, please share.
Legend has their version with achievements and I think they are super awesome. Although they are likely to keep it 'nostalgic' with minor changes to the client. My point is that our world of maplestory is changing but they still want to keep things the old fashion way. I am not against or for it. I literally agree with this post on making some changes for high end players unless you want people to just experience end game and leave the server.
