Does anyone have an 21:9 screen here? I was wondering how this was going to affect Maplestory. If you know please let met know, perhaps make a photo of your desktop playing Maple. Would love to know how it looks.
It works like any other screen given that you play in windowed. If you play in full screen (WHY?) then its you're just gonna have more extreme black bars than your normal 16:9 screen. Would show you a SS but I don't have maple installed
Fullscreen is not why you want an ultra-wide - imagine the amount of clients you can have open and visible. I don't even know why so many characters would be necessary but do it.
Depends on what u do. I personally ditched the dual monitor set up (was actually thinking of getting a 3rd) but decided to get a 21:9 instead. Cuz of other apps I might run. If just for mapling, I think a dual monitor will do equally well compared to a 21:9 in client mode. Full screen wise, I just dont recommend u to play full screen no matter the set up :/ Hey, why not try a 32:9?
Because a lot less is supported on a 32:9. I mainly play World of Warcraft and 21:9 typically looks better on this particular game. I might be wrong but that's what I have been told.
For RPG games, I think a 16:9 is completely fine? The extra lateral view is mainly for racing games or sometimes FPS. For work stuff, it works great for video editors and multi taskers Of course, i am not against the idea of having a 21:9 to play maple, just don't do it in full screen since 1) u get black edges, 2) lateral distortion. It's still a fantastic choice to get a 21:9 tho cuz for me, I just bought one last night and waiting for the delivery. I CANT WAIT!
