why do you think using vmware for ht would get you banned while the guide on how and why to do that was written by me?
Last week, I’m not entirely sure which windows update it was, but it broke VMware. Not just me but many others who use VMware had this issue stating, “VMware Workstation Pro can’t run on Windows.” If you search on the windows forums many people had this common issue after the Windows Update. As for different IP, I am currently located and based in Maryland and my internet for my desktop is set and my internet when I travel is set to my phone hotspot. I was a bit irritated that I can’t run a HT run without VMware and GFXing is too hard in a HT run, so I asked my wife if she could use her VMware and run the HT for me. Account sharing is the reason for the ban. I’m just not entirely sure if family members are considered account sharing.
unfortunately playing on someone else's character and making noticeable progress on it (for example the boss run that you did) is considered major account sharing
