I would like to dispute the locking of my thread. Following Jeen's final post, I would like to say that I believe you're mixing up 2 different suggestions. Matt's final post specifically targeted adding any new player commands for kill-stealing, but if you read my community poll thread carefully, my revamped suggestion was not a command, it was instead a UI window similar to the current Blacklist, along with several minute tweaks to the details of how it should work. Therefore, I believe that quoting Matt's post for justification was slightly inappropriate as my new suggestion was clearly different in some aspects versus what Matt was targeting. You and the rest of the administration disagreed with my initial two command suggestions, and yes, I stopped suggesting them as you wished I had, however this one is not a command, it was not a "direct ripoff" of my similar command suggestion in the old thread, and I believe my thread has no reason to be locked so quickly. I made it a community poll as I believe in the power of democracy, and as a result, I also believe that the administration should try to represent the majority of the community despite the absolute authority bestowed upon them. Therefore, I politely ask that the poll continue to run the full course of 14 days to gather the community's opinion on the suggestion, and subsequently draw your final conclusion based on that, before locking the thread for good.
Matt gave you an answer, told you it would not happen, and as Jeen said, you continued to be disrespectful and made a thread anyway. Please understand that sometimes, things are not your call and when you are told to stop, you need to stop, whether you think you should or not.
Sigh. As I said, Matt specifically mentioned my command suggestions, however the poll was about a similar UI suggestion, not the commands. I dropped the command suggestions seeing as though you're strictly against it and it won't be implemented. I don't believe the thread was disrespectful since it was about neither of the refuted command suggestions. I am done with all of this. This is simply too stressful to keep up with, and seeing as how I just repeated my original post all over again, I honestly do not wish to continue with any of these suggestion-related discussions.
