I was goofing around in Ludibrium: Lost Time <2>, and killed off all the Timers when they respawned. When one of them stunned me, it lasted forever. I had to change channel to get out of the stun, but other players might have to relog to fix it (Being a 150+ Shadower sure gives me an avoidability advantage). Not sure if the Timers that spawn in the other maps do the same thing, I tried finding some but was unlucky. But yeah, Timer permastunning is kind of a silly bug. I know they haven't always been doing this. Edit: Found another thread here about it, unresponded. It lasted a lot longer than 30 seconds for me.
Anything that can stun you has had the chance of perma-stun. It's happened in zakum, it's happened to me at Gatekeeper, and it could probably happen at pap and such too. Generally relogging fixes it, but in the case of bosses like Pap and Zakum where you can't relog unless you want to end the fight... It's more of a problem then.
It has never happend to me anywhere else but Timer, the difference is, Timer permastuns at a 100% rate. It's not just that it can happen every now and then, it happens every time you get stunned. But if it has happened to you at other bosses, it's a global bug, nothing is ever supposed to permastun you.
I've never been permastunned at Timer and I used to hunt it religiously at a lower level, and I still do on my maurader. I've never been permstunned there- but yeah things aren't supposed to permstun you. I believe its a known bug. I'll try to test it out next time I find timers respawning, on my marauder- I can 1-2 hit it on my NL so there's little chance of me being stunned at all there.
Also encountered this permastun bug by Timer boss today. CC'ing solved it luckily. It permastunned me the very first time it used stun. After cc'ing and returning to finish it, it once again permastunned me on his first try.
My guildie Yiks also experienced a permastun by the timer boss today. Says all cures were unable to cure the stun.
I've heard all cures cure stun. Since holy waters only cure everything except for stun... can someone confirm?
