using the puppet skill disappears in 5 hits 5000 damage every time the boss attacks him If he touches me he takes away 11350 life Any suggestions to be more prepared when meeting this boss? pd: I fail a lot using snipe
Greetings, first of all you must remove the booster and put the puppet behind the boss and when his back is turned you corner him, perhaps give him 12 to 18 hits in a row, there you repeat with the puppet, well if your cross is of normal att, in As far as I'm concerned, using my bowmaster I don't have any problems, but since you're cross it may be a bit difficult for you, but playing cross is a challenge, go for it! ah and never use snipe , fail consecutively xD
Fighting bf on mm is struggle (like most things on this class ). We can't pin like a bm can because we attack too slow. Like you say, using puppet to pin isn't ideal either. It dies too quick. Also, you will miss most of your shots to iframes. There is a better way though! See where you are in your screenshot? Get yourself into a position like that but without the puppet in between you. Now let bf walk towards you and then use power knockback on him to smack him back into the corner. Immediately start to use strafe on him. He'll get stuck in corner facing the wrong way and your shots will pin and prevent him from turning around. This is similar to other classes, but here's the mm-specific trick though: you have to be standing in the exact correct position. If you are standing too close/too far, your shots will get out of sync with his iframes and you will eventually start to miss one and he will become unpinned. If this happens, adjust yourself slightly closer or further back from him and try again (you need to be very precise, even being a tiny distance off can ruin the timing). If you get the right spot, you will know because every shot will land and you'll keep pin forever (until you need to rebuff). I think where you're standing in the screenshot is roughly where you need to be. I think you need booster to do this, and no si. At least that's how I do it, using a normal speed xbow. I dunno if I explained that well at all lol I can try to take a video if I get a chance sometime and can find a bf alive.
LOL I can’t believe I remember I had this guide Its basically what anglerfish said but with pictures https://royals.ms/forum/threads/marksman-guide-to-bf-solo.145696/#post-860600
I ran across a BF today and decided to record a video: My positioning actually isn't perfect here, I miss one shot near the end. Probably just need to move a tiny bit forward or back and they'll all land. But hopefully that gives you a good idea of how to do it.
yea, twisted paths is so dry lately. I tried to find a few bigfoots to leech my lvl 11x bucc and barely found 5 at all four twisted path maps
I recently played around with few bigfoot in twisted paths on my Marksman and found a reliable method to pin him. I didn't use snipe at all, so this could also work for Bowmaster. I did use booster! 1. Tag to make it follow you. 2. Go to the right corner. 3. Put puppet on right corner. 4. Walk to the left of BF. 5. Stand on the exact middle of the trees portal (red background). If BF is standing there, you can use Power Knockback to push him to the corner. 6. Buff up and start strafing. You won't be hitting every shot but eventually BF will end up in the corner. 7. Once puppet runs out BF will run into the corner. Depending on the timing of your shots two things can happen: - "Perfect pin"- If you manage to hit him while he is still facing right, he will get pinned and you can just keep firing non stop until you have to rebuff or the game forces you to stop attacking. - "Partial pin" - If you hit him while he is already running left (towards you) he sill start to slowly get closer to you. You're will still be hitting him all the time but he will eventually get too close and unpin - place a puppet behind him to reset. 8. Repeat 3-7 until dead. Extra tips: - You can summon your elemental bird to kill those annoying wraiths, but since you're standing so close it will also target the bigfoot. Your milage will varry. - If you can't tank a bigfoot touch damage (~12k), you can use the iframes from his weak jump attack or the wraiths to go through him. Especially useful when you're stuck at the right corner. - You can use power knock back to speed up the "pushing him to the corner" phase, before he is pinned. It can also be used to pin him to the corner if puppet is down and he is close enough but it's not very reliable. - If you have SI, you will need to stand further away, to the left of the red portal. This might be far enough for the bird to not attack bigfoot too. Using this method I managed to kill a BF in ~15 mins on my 139 Marksman using Ciders and a very multi-target focused skill build (30 Pierce, 9 SE, 19 Mastery).
