Depends too much on your level. The more levels the more flat dex you have to be buffed by MW20. A level 140 Bowmen w the same equips as a 200 Bowman will have astronomical different ranges. Keep leveling and upgrading weapon is the best use of money.
It depends on your funds and what method you are using to make mesos. What kind of gear do you have currently? How long have you been playing? Do you want to make a Mage class to print mesos to fund your current character? Are you saving up nx for selling APRs or gacha? If yes to gacha I recommend Mushroom Shine because the int, magic att, wep att, weapon 30%, helm 30%, earring 30% scrolls are very very valuable and at least around 3m+ most of them are around 5-20m. It's the most friendliest for new players if you don't get a chaos scroll. Other gacha machines will kick you down and beat you up RNG-wise especially if you're starting out and don't have a whole lot of funds to support yourself with. Alternatively I've seen a few Smegas of people buying wedding tickets the cheapest one is around 20k nx and I think they go for 60-70m. I would start small with little gains here and there until you can afford to buy higher value stuff, but its hard to tell without knowing your current gear. 15 att stormcaster gloves are around 850-950m now, they used to be 1.5b. I'm unsure how much a ~5 att or lower facestomper 0 slot is but a 5 att one I believe is around 2b(?) It's been awhile since I bought mine... Make sure you have enough stats to wear high level bowman overalls a 20-25+ stat one is pretty cheap and would help a lot too. Zakum Helmet is a must, can also use a HTP or get a CWKPQ run together to loot some MoNs. HTP is better than a MoN only if it's 3-4 att or higher so I would get a HTP if you have absolutely nothing at the moment as a good filler. Dojo belts are pretty handy as well! Try to recruit a run for those there's some people looking for their black belts. MW10 gives around ~400-500 extra range, MW20 gives a bit more but they're around 2b+ for a book. Energizers are a good low cost potion to use, but for bossing I would recommend using heartstoppers. The best time to get Energizers would be during the Lunar New Year event where you can exchange wish tickets for them. I made around 500-600 earlier this year and I wasn't as active as I used to be... It starts up every end of January/early February so the next one would be a few months from now. BMs are pretty good at farming for heartstoppers if you have your summon skill-- just check back every 2-3min to loot and get mapowner. You can also sell them for around 380k+ each instead if you need mesos with a store merchant. Join a friendly guild that does daily boss runs, and most of the time they won't care what gear you have. Consistently running bosses or joining an LHC party will get you to level 200 at a pretty solid pace.
15att gloves for 850m, 5att shoes for 800m, 4att cape 8-10str 200m, 125 nisrock/130neschere 900m Shouldn't be too far away from 6k range, if not over it, with all that at 15x especially as a MM with marksman boost maxed (+15 att) Get your str down as low as possible to get the most out of MW10/20, it's free range. Scroll your earrings for str, get a zhelm or join some scar runs and hopefully roll a nice high str one.
@Becca lol I'm getting a manual to 6k I am actually fine with farming mesos/nx (take it slow), just poor gacha and scrolling @eVolve so It doesn't seem like much to hit 6k. what do you think my range will be at lvl 150 with the following gears: 130 attack nisrock 16-17 att gloves 12-15 cape/fs 40+ dex overall rest just to give me str those are my end-game goals
It's not too much to hit 6k. With those gears and level 150~160 with a decent pendent and at least 30dex scrolled hat you should hit 6k or close to it. Also once you hit 155 you start leveling very fast because of Horntail and LHC. 155-165 is probably faster leveling than 145-155
I have ~6.1k range self buffed (MW10). Here's what it takes for a level 160 BM. I'm a 162BM, strless, 125 att nisrock (working on perfect scrolling it still, 3 slots left), 15 att scg, 8 att fs, 12 att bfc, 32 dex helm, 22 all htp, 10 dex face, some other stuff mainly for str. Why are you curious about 6k range in specific? I haven't played in a long while so wondering if it's some sort of milestone for BM to reach... Feel like I remember hearing back then that if you wanna join HT runs as a BM attacker you needed min 6k range.... Idk how much has changed.
@kernelzown Oh, I'm just thinking it's a good range to aim (at least half the range of top BM/MM). I'm not looking to farm 100bil+, so I'm just gauging how much range I can reach with reasonable gears. Based on your gears, I think I can achieve 6.5k range with my target gears
