Hi all, I'm new to the game and new to HP washing as well. I'm currently a level 50 sin with 20 INT, and all LUK. I have great equips and about 600mill at the moment. I discovered HP washing fairly recently and I've put everything on pause, coming to the conclusion that it would be best to start over so I can pump everything into INT and wear INT equips so I can have a hefty amount of HP later on. But I'm really not fond of the idea of starting a mage to try and fund myself. Is it too late to start HP washing on my thief with the 600mill I have now? The guides confuse me a bit. If I now start pumping all my AP into INT, I'd have 120 INT by level 70. Could I start HP washing then? Would I hit that comfortable goal of 7,500 HP so I can Horntail without HB? I read guides and they tell me that the process of HP washing is: put Level Up AP into HP, and then AP reset to reduce MP and put into LUK. So let's say if I reach 120 INT by level 70, when I turn level 71, should I put 1 Level up AP into HP, AP reset to reduce MP, and put that into LUK? Or should I AP Reset to reduce MP and put into HP since I have a bigger MP pool? Because I've seen that method too. What about the 5 Level up AP points I get at level 71? Any guidance would be much appreciated. What would you recommend I do? If anyone can lay out the process/step 1,2,3 in simple, simple terms—I'd be eternally grateful. Thank you so much. H.
If you can give me what your base hp and mp right now are + how much int you have int in equips, I can get a better understanding of what you still need. Also, you need 7.6k minimum to ht as an NL without HB, not 7.5k. As an NL, never use mp to hp while you are still able to use Level up AP. MP to HP will get an NL 16-20 hp while Level Up AP into HP then MP to stat will give you 20-24 hp. Level 50 does not seem late at all and there are more options to funding yourself than a mage. My friend did it by doing a lot of apq and selling apples and selling items they got from gach. I know others also just sell tp rocks, safety charms, or nx.
Hello, Jeen. I appreciate the help. This is where I'm currently at: I have a +6 INT cape only. I have 600mill at the moment that I could spend on INT equips. I'm willing to fund myself through selling gach items/tp rocks/etc. Also, you suggest that I put Level Up AP into HP. Shouldn't I put those Level Up APs into INT? If you could kindly lay out the steps for me, I'd love you forever. I really want to continue playing this character and server, and also enjoy end game comfortably.
Assuming this is without any equips, you need approximately 6.1k more hp by level 155 to be able to HT without HB. https://royals.ms/forum/threads/hp-washing-for-new-players.41129/ If you check out this thread, it explains some of the basic int equips you can get and it will also explain what MP washing is. I suggest you try and get at least 50 int, which seems reasonable for your budget. Now, let's assume you will wash out all of your int by 120. I recommend this as leeching past this gets very inefficient and expensive. Plus, it would be a shame to not be able to enjoy your character. So here is how things work with NLs. They benefit the most from HP washing when they use fresh AP. You get on average 22 hp per level up ap rather than the 18 if you use mp to hp. However, you have a limited amount of levels that you can do this for. You will be able to do this with 35 levels worth of ap if we assume you will be washing out your int by 120. You also get 5 from job adv. So, 36 (levels+ 4th job adv) x 5 (AP points per level) x 22 (avg hp gain) = 3960 extra hp. 36 x 5 = 180 washes. 180 (washes required) x 12 (mp needed) = 2160mp. However, this HP gain is not enough as you will only have about 5500 hp. You need about 2.1k more HP to have 7.6k. Unfortunately, we cannot use fresh ap bonuses, so you will only be getting an average of 18 hp during this portion of the washing. This part will be taking out of mp and putting directly into mp. From here we need to figure out how many washes it will take to get 2.1k so we can calculate how much mp we need. so 2100hp / 18hp per wash = about 117 washes. 117 (washes) x 12 (mp needed) = 1400 mp needed. So by level 120, you will need about 3.6k extra mp. Okay, so let's assume you get 50 int in equips right now. You also get 100 base int by level 66. We will calculate from level 66 to make things simpler. This is when you will start mp washing. At level 66 you should have 150 total int from equips and base. That will get you 15 mp x 54 levels = 810 mp at level 120. So from the 3600 mp we needed earlier, subtract this amount. 3600mp - 800mp. You now need to mp wash and get about 2600mp. MP washing, as explained in the guide above, is when you have high base int and you add your level up AP into mp and then reset that into your main stat for extra MP. You get 1/10th of your base int, but it has to be in increments of 10. So for example if you have 100 base int, you will get 10 extra mp per mp wash. MP washing from level 66 to 119 will get you about 2700 extra mp. You get an extra 5 ap when you job adv at level 70 as well. 54 (levels + 3rd job adv) x 5 (ap points per level) x 10 (mp from base int) = 2700mp. With this, you should have enough MP by level 120 to hit 7.6k hp at 155 if you get the avg amount of hp per wash. If you find yourself lacking a little bit, just keep wearing the int gear until you hit what you need. *Please keep in mind that this method is fairly expensive. Simple rundown if you aren't interested in the math: 1. Get 50 int in gear. 2. Add all of your AP into INT until you hit 100 INT. 3. Start MP Washing at level 66 through level 119 Add all of your level up AP into MP and then take it out and put it into your main stat. 4. Take out all of your base int when you hit 120. 5. Use the AP you get at 120 from level up + job adv and put it into HP. 6. Remove from the points you put into MP and put it into main stat. 7. Do this until 155. 8. Once you hit 155, use the - mp to + hp washing method to get the remainder HP. 9. Enjoy HT! (Remember, you will still need to watch out for wings damage with 7.6k, but it should be fairly simple to avoid them) I might have gotten mixed up somewhere as I was in a bit of a rush, so if anyone sees any mistakes or has any questions please let me know!
There's a spread sheet for hp wash u can simply just type all ur values in and it will spit out how much int u will need more. Link is in the no hp wash thread
Yeah, I saw that spreadsheet. I think I was more confused with the actual process of HP washing. Since I've seen several different methods, and one method told me to add Level up AP into HP, and yet Jeen, above, told me to put Level up AP into MP and then take it out into LUK.
The reason why thiefs use Ap from lvl up is because you get more hp as oppose to using Ap reset to take out more and put into hp. The second method works for other class because the hp gain from both of those methods are nearly the same.
I see, I see. I'm wondering if it'd be easy just to restart a new character with the funding I currently have now.
