Hello, i just learned about hp washing and im lvl 77 hermit and haven't added a single point to int :/ Should i just remake character and hp wash that or is there anything i could do?
I didn't start washing my NL until level 83. I got a Dep Star and Zak Helm at level 6x, and when I hit 3rd job I took a 1 month break from training to get enough funds for good HP washing gear (totalling 100 INT with 4 base). Right now I'm level 124 and have enough HP for Horntail (just barely though). So you're not screwed by any stretch of imagination, but it'll be easier—and more flexible later on—to start a new character and wash from the get go. Another option is to start adding INT immediately, but that will make levelling incredibly difficult without leech, and will cost 1+ bil to reset later on.
if you want to Horntail without HB and plan on doing pink bean in the future if it ever comes out, i would start over
It all depends on your goal ( the HP you want ), if you only wish to have enough HP for zak, You won't even have to do washing, by lv135 you would have enough HP to tank zak's magic attacks , unless you want to tank the body which is around 8-10k probably.
if you're planning on getting into the lvl 160s + range eventually, i would make HT your goal...it's going to be hard to level up for a class like NLs without bossing and zakum gets really slow around lvl 140-150, especially when you're limited to 2 runs a day
If your goal is to be able to take on Horntail at level 155, it's actually not too difficult, and it isn't too late. As long as you accumulate 30 INT, through equips or raw AP, by level 97, you will have gained enough extra MaxMP to wash to 5.6k HP at level 155, which is how much you need to battle Horntail. Okay thanks for the answers. Im probably not going to do HT and im only planning to do zakum eventually so good to hear that i dont have to remake.
