Hi i just started playibg the game few hours ago and all i can say is this server looks good i can feel the old school gaming. Well the thing is i'm a complete new to this game i tried the N A server but the server is kind a easy to play what i mean is i play like an hour and i level up fast now this server i kind a feel the extreme grinding even i don't have any ideas where should i train or should i do quest or pick loots, sell and then buy items so i wanna ask some advice on how can i survive the game and i have some questions too. Like is there a teleporter npc where i can go to other maps besides the cab?, should i do some important quests? and should i mind getting equipments while training?. And my character is a pirate knuckles type weapon str then 30 dex.
Don't worry too much about equips for now since they're be replaced quickly. Keep your dex as low as possible, just muscle thru some misses till level 35. Priority gear are all Maple knuckles, the accuracy is your saviour. Zhelm as soon as possible. Approx 50m. Save your NX to sell at 50+ by selling AP resets. Other than whatever cosmetics you like, you should priority a pet, item pouch/meso magnet, Auto HP/MP. Pets are not tradeable but pet equips are, so those are eternally useful. Try not to be too leech centric on your first character, it's gonna sorta make everything else harder if you run out of money. I would save up mesos if you can for a fast travel pass, available for purchase in the FM by Albert. It lets you skip boat rides. Save up your nx to sell to buy important stuff like this.
