Hello, I dont know if this was discussed in the past but, Ive been training for a bout a few hours daily, but server seems to have a really slow pace. I know that it is a low rate server, but 4x is obviously making things really slow in terms of leveling up.

I am not trying to suggest to change the rates, but what I'd like to know is how do people reach SO high levels like 100+, and especially on a 4x exp server like this? How can I reach that level myself, if I get bored so quickly and give up in middle of training because its so slow?

Sorry if I sound ignorant or something. I really tried everything I can. I trained for hours, but I only gain 1 or 2 levels? I dont understand......there must be a way to get over the boredom and the slow pace here ?

If anyone has any suggestions or advice please let me know. Thanks!

It really just comes down to dedication. Some people really like playing the game, and find it fun to grind, or they'll find ways to reduce the boredom. I personally watched all of Game of Thrones, getting me from like 90-120.

Some people just cope better with the grind that we call MapleStory. It's no fault of your own; just do you and enjoy the game however you can. :)

I'm usually watching an anime or watching YouTube while I grind. Everyone has their own way of grinding.

So you're saying you watched an entire TV series during your training? Uhm, I think that wouldnt let me focus on the game because I'd have 2 things running at the same time......but maybe I gotta find someting else to do while I grind, so it wont be so boring.

Well the thing is......what I always did was listen to music while playing, but that didnt always solve the problem.....so Im trying to find other things I can do while training, while still being able to focus on the game. If I dont focus, I lose the ability to train efficiently if you know what I mean......

I would watch TV during training, but my TV is not in the same room so I cant. And because my computer is.....pretty weak, it wouldnt be able to run a video and the game at the same time. I also hate window mode, I always play in fullscreen so I wouldnt be able to watch someting during the training.

Yeah well.....I really appreciate your advice though guys. I'll have to think about someting else I can do during training.(Other than music and videos). If you have any other suggestions please tell me.

Fill up your buddy list and find a guild thats talkative. Grinding goes way faster if theres someone to chat to, or even just chatter going on that you can follow. Also means you'll have people to pq with, which breaks up the monotony.

I find hunting items helps as well. If im searching for my next weapon, grinding out etc. Drops for a quest, or waiting out gfa scrolls, im not focusing on my exp bar anymore, so i dont care how fast it goes up (or doesnt.)

In the end though, its still a grind. Youve got to learn to love it.
