Hi there! For those of you who don't really know me, I'm Portamento, a Corsair that recently quit Royals. I'm not entirely sure whether or not I'll return, but some time before I resolved to leave, I was planning on writing a Maple Series, Lurid. Synopsis: “Lurid” is a series that is based on Maplestory before the “Big Bang” patch. It revolves around those gifted with the abilities of two classes and being shunned as well as ostracized by society. Once school starts for me, I'll probably be able to attend to my writing more. It sounds a bit strange, but it's mostly because I'm the type of person who tends to work a bit harder when pressured with time constraints. I hope to maybe update with a scene or so every week. Anyways, I believe that no author is really satisfied with his or herself being the only reader, so I'm shamelessly self-advertising on the chance that maybe someone may be interested? I aspire to someday publish a novel myself (without self-publishing), which is a rather daunting challenge, but I've always been a bit of an impractical child.
