Hey guys I'm back for the summer again.

I just redownloaded the client on a new laptop and before I launched it I got a notice from my laptop's daily scan.
It detected "Trojan: Win32/Fuery.C!cl" in the MR files. Should I be concerned at all or is this just a false alarm and something I have to deal with to play?
My laptop is fairly new and quite expensive...I would really hate to get malware in this baby just to play.

    That is a false alarm...
Make sure you are downloading from the MapleRoyals download page here: https://royals.ms/?page=download
As long as you are downloading from there, you are fine!
Since your antivirus it detecting it, you need to disable it while downloading and then add MapleRoyals to exceptions.

Glad to see you back :)
    The more the merrier!

The client has been hex-edited to include information that is specific to MapleRoyals such as the IP address of the server to connect to.

What many AV will do is scan for such things, and flag it as a Trojan. It's just doing what it's supposed to do, but in this case for the MapleRoyals' client, it's safe.
