Hello All, I'm currently using a VPN to access the Mapleroyals forum + website. My dilemma is, I'm having trouble connecting to MapleRoyals as a whole. The website won't load, the game won't load. The only way I can access the game is if I connect to a VPN. Does anyone know how to remedy this? I do not want to be using a VPN to play this game and I've never experienced this problem before I am from the US, I feel this problem might be my connection? I've reset my router+ modem, but no luck. Any advice?
That's the problem we are having right now. We have no way of fixing it because nobody is responding to our emails. We know what the problem is, and we can't do anything about it because it is out of our hands.
Hi Becca, Ahhh I see it's a multiplayer problem. I thought it was just me, will there be a possible fix ? Or is this problem being looked into right now? Thanks !
Question to the staff , Since there is a ongoing connection problem for multiple players, Is it against the rules to use a VPN to play royals? I ask this because a VPN will give me a unique IP everytime and that might become a little fishy, But I have no other way of playing royals
We advise to stop using free vpns, paid ones are fine. (You might have to refresh some IPs on the paid one) we are getting quite a few ban appeals relating to free vpns, which is why we advise players to stop using the free ones. Almost all of them are already banned from hackers, and it changes your ip every time, which could flag you for account sharing, suspicious activity, vote abuse, etc.
