Unable to connect to the login server

    Hi all,

    I was in LMPQ when the game froze and I logged out. I did the character fix on the MapleRoyals website and now when I attempt to log in, it brings me to the character screen successfully. But when I click on my character, the game freezes with music still playing, and about 10-15sec later, the screen turns black with the following message appearing, as shown in the attached screenshot:

    "We are unable to connect to the login server due to a server check, a firewall block or other network issues. Please check the Maplestory homepage for ongoing server checks as well as your firewall settings."

    I'm currently running on the Mac client, and the server appears to be online with people still connected. Please help, thank you!

    The server froze for a short while. I've rebooted it now.

    did the server freeze again? because I seem to be having this same problem right now.

    That message means that only GMs/Admins/Developers are currently allowed to log in to the server, and you are not one of them. It happens every time the server comes back up and usually lasts between 1 and 20 minutes. Please wait patiently...

    Or mash your enter key every 11 seconds furiously trying to log in like the rest of us.
