Hello! I recently became a bishop and am looking to finish my quest for Genesis. During my adventures in finishing the quest, "War of the Dragons, Secret Medicine for Transformation," I've managed to gather all the items except for one - The manon cry. Being a priest, I cannot kill Manon on my own very quickly, so I asked for help. Someone came to my aid and helped me kill Manon... twice! The first time, a cry dropped, but to my distress, I could not loot it. I got the message, "You cannot loot anymore items." I checked my inventory and I neither had a cry already, nor was my inventory full. We found another manon, and this time the manon dropped 2 cries! Again, to my avail, I could not loot either and got the same message as before. I am at a loss of what I could be missing other than the game thinks I already have one, but my quest still says "0/1" because I could not loot the cry. I have included a SS of being next to both manon cries as proof that it was done. Is it possible to receive a manon's cry from a GM so I may continue my quest for Genesis? Thanks~ PS: I've used ~gm in-game, and have yet to receive a response of any kind. I've marked this as a "major" bug because it is game-breaking for my bishop. It isnt actually a bug. What it is is that there are two quests where a manon cry is needed. One is the first one- the one you have. Once someone has completed that and turned it in (aka they've gone through HTPQ at least once), they have the repeatable quest active. When that happens and they kill manon, a different manon cry is dropped- identical to the one you need, except its an entirely different item in that the IDs are separate. Thus you can't loot it. What you need to do is find someone who has not turned in the HTPQ quest yet, or who only has the first quest activated, and have them kill it for you. Personally, I can help you on my NL- but I'm going to be gone for the night.
In fact, this is a bug. When the killer has already done the quest, a manon cry should still drop. This cry is invisible for the killer, but visible and lootable for the leecher (who is currently doing the quest, and doesn't have the needed items yet). The manon's cry the leecher saw in this case shouldn't have been visible to him/her, since it's not related to any of his/her quests. Also, the drops should be invisible (but should drop!) if the player has already got all the items for the quest. (This obviously only concerns quest items.)
well i just cleared all manon's with bryhone made sure everything that was said on this forum was applicable and not one loot-able manons cry if this is a bug can i please receive a manon's cry it is extremely frusterating.
