I use Windows 10 AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-core processor 16 GB ram NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card I did have to recover mr.dill from 'quarantine' since after i turned my antivirus back on it tried to throw it away, same with Maple Royals itself. Edit: Tried installing it on multiple hard drives, still get the error

I followed every letter of all these threads and double-checked everything including run as admin all to no avail. My game launched last night, I've powered up and down my pc multiple times so why today does everything fall apart and I launch PC to see royals exe gone? Reinstall and I get the same message as buddy here: Update check failed: unable to fetch update info...
Completely uninstall all maple royals files including your current installer. Make an exception in anti-virus and or disable when necessary to download and install the newest installer from the royals website. Do a fresh reinstall and run as admin with proper anti-virus exceptions (like folder exception) and that's what worked for me. You may or may not need to run as admin but that worked for me.
