Notice Update: Terms and Conditions

Hello MapleRoyals,

In conjunction with the coming source update patch, we are pleased to announce the release of an updated Game Terms and Conditions. Over the past two years, we have been reading and recording feedback about our system and believe that the changes we have made will be more conducive to a healthier playing environment. Outlined below will be a general summary of the changes made, however I strongly encourage everyone to please read the update as you will find that the structure and language may have changed for common rules.

• Kill-stealing and Harassment are now considered two separate offenses.
• Removal of unclear rule regarding links to other websites.
• Removal of rule 30 - transmitting Smegas in languages other than English.
• Removal of redundant rules.
• Reorganization of rules into major (first offense permanent bans), moderate (second offense permanent bans) and minor (third offense permanent bans) for clarity.
• Rewriting of the registration section of the Terms and Conditions to better clarify the situations in which your account may be altered or restricted on the basis of improper or inappropriate information.
• Inclusion of an appendix intended to better explain the situations related to rules that may be confusing or otherwise convoluted.
• Alterations to the ban lengths of various offenses in order to better reflect how seriously we take those particular offenses.

Great work on the new rules, I mean it! However, I have a very important suggestion. There should be a glossary at the bottom of the rules with definitions to the less known words that may have multiple meanings. For example, I could not find an official definition to badgering anywhere (didn't know what it meant), where as a search on urban dictionary provided the actual meaning (being unnecessarily repetitive), but also provided a rated R meaning that I really didn't have to learn about as a result of trying to understand Maple Royals' rules.

Looks like you have the appendice but it doesn't include single tough words.
