IGN: Volt Last thing you did: Why do you think you got banned?: vote abuse What GM banned you (optional): Dustin Here's my rebuttle, I often read about this issue in the forums. I have read all there is to read about people arguing about their bans (at least what is viewable by the public). Knowing this, I do not think I was legitimately banned. Here's why. Just to clarify: Rule I was claimed of breaking : Spoiler Attempting to and/or bypassing the restriction of not voting more than once every 24 hours per person. The facts: -I vote once on my network everyday in my college dorm (****). -My brother votes once per day on his old account (****) everyday at my house in his phone. -He no longer plays. He gives me all his nx because he owes me (alot). Therefore; -We are two separate people (yes he is real and I can prove it) -We are in 2 separate locations and have different ips. -We each vote once per day. The reason I kept doing this is because I legitimately did not believe I was breaking the rule. When it comes down to it, I don't have a problem in taking my 7 day and moving on if I can get some justification from you on exactly why I'm outside of the ToS. (Mostly so it doesn't happen again). Until then, I do not feel I was rightfully accused. Thanks. EDIT: Sent this to Dustin a day ago. He must be busy. Figured I'd get some opinion on this. Maybe I'm nuts, idk. Side note, I have been doing this with my brother for some time. (we switch giving each other things on and off on many many servers throughout our maple ps and non ps lives) How am I to know I'm vote abusing in this situation? Also, I'm surely in danger of doing it again if I can't get some clarity on this. Why would I donate to something I'd knowingly risk getting banned from? Like really? I read ban appeals on this, I read forum posts on this, and I still have had a clear conscience the entire time. I've had absolutely no reason to think otherwise. Please tell me why I can't read. I feel dumb.
I recieved a question on how I handled this situation, so I will explain: In my opinion, this does not deserve a ban. Therefore I unbanned Volt. But that does not mean this is acceptable. Technically speaking in this situation you would still be recieving twice as much NX as a person. If anyone owes you anything, I suggest you take care of it by using different methods .
