I had a buddy join MapleRoyals recently, and he voted from his own IP at his house and I voted from my IP at my house. We do not live together. We both vote from our own IP's at around 6:00pm Pacific Standard Time. He logged onto his account at my house today and played for a little while. Does this mean we have to take turns voting now? I made sure he knew, from the start, that we ALWAYS vote on our own IP's. The records should show that as well. So I just want to know, if we both can continue to vote regularly, or not. I read that we could message a GM and get 'whitelisted' if we explain our circumstances. I also talked with my buddy over the phone about this, and we have decided to NOT vote until we hear back from you about this issue as to avoid getting wrongfully banned. Thanks in advance.
If anyone else has this issue, it seems to be that as long as you don't use each other's computers, and always vote from your own separate IP's, you should be fine.
^ But how is that situation any different than what multiple-person households have been doing? My partner has always voted from his phone, me from wifi, and we've played on our own individual computers. Under this new rule, though, we have to alternate voting because we both play on the same IP even when we vote on different IPs. I dont see how it's different if someone comes over to play, though they voted on another IP.
Not really, I have the exact same issue with my friend and i was at her house for 4 days and I never voted, we just got back to my house and I tried to vote and it told me "Please wait x amount of minutes" Like wtf :/ it's bullshit. I already didn't vote for 4 days, now this?
