IGN: LinD Problem: Voted but didn't get NX Details: I've been voting for the past few months since my self-ban with no problem, but for the past half week I've been unable to vote on gTop100. I enter my account ID on MapleRoyals "Vote for NX" section and I can click the link to gTop100. Upon completing the captcha and clicking the vote button, I get "This IP has already voted, please try again in xx-xx-xx time." The time it states until I can vote again is seemingly random. E.g. MapleRoyals website says I can vote. I try to vote, says to wait 13hours. I try again 2 hours later, it says wait 20hours. I try again in about an hour, says to wait 4hours. I have tried used Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer (all without any form of ad blocker), as well as using both an Apple and Android phone. I'm also using a private IP which no one else aside from my family has access to. Can a GM/Admin check if any of my votes have gone through and if possible refund me the lost nx?
If you have not correctly been voting there is no refunds possible to give. Are you still experiencing this problem?
Yes, this is still happening, but sporadically with no real pattern (happens randomly). I should clarify better. I'm asking to see if my votes went through on the days before these incidents happened, and if I received NX for those votes. Congrats on the promotion .
The problem you mentioned where it tells you that you have already voted is likely to come from the device or IP address you vote from, and the system on Gtop or MapleRoyals sees that the IP you are using has already been used. From what I can see your vote IP is changing daily and is different every time you vote, that would explain the problem you are having with voting. Any idea why that happens? Thank you very much
I joined MapleRoyals and started voting in December last year, and this is the first time such an issue has come up. I thought that I had a static IP address from my internet provider (Rogers) since I never had any problems with voting. I don't know how to explain the changing vote IP. I assumed that IP addresses only change when you restart the modem/router, something I rarely do. If it's the dynamic IP address that's causing these voting issues, is talking to my internet provider the only way to solve it?
I am not really sure, from what I saw you don't have a static IP, and when it tells you that you have already voted, that IP has voted. You can most definitely try talking to your ISP and see if they have any information to give, from what I can see the problem is on your side and not something we can solve for you.
