In website https://royals.ms/ , message shows top of the website : ' Welcome to MapleRoyals! We are a Nostalgic MapleStory Private Server! 3.2x EXP / 4x Meso / 2x Drop ' But , in https://royals.ms/library/ , message shows top of the website is : ` Welcome to MapleRoyals! We are a MapleStory v0.62 Private Server! 4x EXP / 4x Meso / 2x Drop ` 3.2xEXP or 4xEXP ???
MapleRoyals is 3.2x EXP. It was 4x before that, but when the EXP-curve was changed to the one in v0.83 (I think?) of GMS, and therefore Royals' EXP-rate was changed to 3.2x to preserve the feeling. So a monster that gave 10 EXP in GMS will give 32 EXP here EDIT: Funny by the way that you noticed this! I didn't notice it before. It's a good example of the "troubles" that can occur when using a hard-coded string and not loading strings from a database hehe.
Thanks for reply ! I'm a front end developer , so I guess that's why I always notice the web's mistakes .
It's indeed a mistake that we forgot to update the marquee. The developers will update it once they have the time as they are currently busy working on the next update.
Talking about website leftovers: on the gtop100 site there is a second MapleRoyals on rank 63. Presumably an old version that wasn't removed? Since it does link to this homepage. It looks like you can still vote for it too, though I'm not silly enough to actually verify it (was tempted for a second though).
