I had an issue where I wasn't able to log in game because I was stuck in game and was told to force log off, okay sure thats fine. My password wasn't working on the website BUT was being accepted ingame, so I reset my password. My password HAS been reset and is being accepted on the forum, but not on the home page maple royals, and my old password is being accepted in game? Can someone explain how the password system works so I can have a better understanding? Or am I just a victim to a weird situation? Edit, since my password IS working INGAME, but not working on the website main page how am I to force log off my character? And why is my new password only working on the forum? There doesn't seem to be any explanation anywhere Is the forum password the same as the main page / ingame password? Or are they separate? I'm assuming they are the same but seeing how I reset my forum password and my ingame password hasnt changed I have no choice but to believe they're different, but since my INGAME password is the same and the main page password says its different i'm left confused and lost So as shown in the photos me stuck in game not being able to log in and required to force log out Me unable to even log in the main maple royalspage being told my password is incorrect and get redirected in 3 seconds back to home page Me logged in the forum All I want to do is force logout my character and ended up in this terrible complication Its like my password for the main page doesnt even EXIST resulting in some error
You have a forum account and you have an in game account, the home page and your in game is the same account. Did you get your in game password reset? If you have a password that is longer than 12 characters you can't log into the "home page" but the password works in game.
I can't find any option for the " in game " password reset, there only seems to be a login option or register Edit, also if my password is being accepted ingame why all of the sudden did it stop working on the ingame website?
Ah... that 12 character thing answered my issue right then and there, thankyou, and thankyou for explaining to me how things work. I believe its resolved, now all thats left is to force log my character off 100% fixed. Thank you, I really appreciate your quick reply, useful and accurate solution
