Hello all, I'm new to the Free Market. What are the best ways to make money? Is it buying low and selling high or selling scrolled items? Also what are some high demand items that are easy to sell and buy in the market? Thanks!
You could try buying and reselling the same item for higher but the majority of the prices for certain items are similar. Scrolled items are definitely the main things people look for in the FM, and depending on your scrolling luck, you could make lots of money or go bankrupt. There are many high demand items in the market including equips scrolled with W.att (or clean w.att gear), onyx apples, heartstoppers, 30% scrolls, white/chaos scrolls, HT mastery books (and gene 20 from zak) etc. Some high demand items that are easy to sell are onyx apples and heartstoppers, as they are used in bossing all the time, and you can obtain them yourself for free. You can also gach and sell the scrolls, items, and equips you obtain. Note that I'm not an absolute expert with FM and merching, so I'm probably missing quite a bit
I think the merching market in MR is pretty small because most people just owl to find items. This is because owls are easy to come by + there are so many shops open in so many channels, it would take ages to go through them all to find the better price. I'm sure, however that you could make some money merching if you have: a good spot: doorspot, preferably in ch1 FM 1-6 + all first FMs on every platform. I dont think you could make a lot of money by buying and selling scrolls, unless theyre high value (+30m at least), i think your best bet would be to get cheap equipments: gloves,bottom,top,weapons,shoes,... because its difficult to determine the right price for them. and if you have a good spot where you have more visitors then you'll have better luck finding someone paying a certain amount of money then the guy in fm 22 all the way in the back... the downside of this is that equips are less frequently bought then i.e scrolls... Spending time on the server and 'creating' value yourself, whether it be leeching, or gathering valuable items like heartstoppers, or gfa scrolls at golloms... will (imo) grant you more money. Or you could always try your luck and scroll items yourself, should usually also be more lucurative...
