Hi there, I have downloaded and installed the game from the Download section of the MapleRoyals website (MEGA version). When I try to run the game, hackshield runs, followed by the official Nexon Login window. If I enter my Nexon acc details (I know I shouldn't need to for a P-Server) I get asked to migrate my acc to GMS. If I enter this site's info, it just tells me it's incorrect. If I close the Nexon window, nothing else happens or loads. I have made an exception in my firewall, and turned off autodetect, and have tried reinstalling and restarting my laptop. Any suggestions gratefully received.
You need to do a clean reinstall into a folder that is specifically just for MapleRoyals. That should keep the weird Nexon login screen from appearing.
Did you have maplestory downloaded prior to downloading MapleRoyals? The reason why i'm asking this is because those are not the files you will recieve if you download the files from here https://royals.ms/?page=download I'd urge you to go to program files/program files (x86) and check if you have a MapleRoyals folder installed. If not, proceed to download it from that link above.
Thank you for the suggestions, I've uninstalled the files that I had, and deleted the remaining ones. I'm re-downloading from the link Zynzer sent, now. I'll make an update when it's installed again
Thank you guys so much! Now it's working just fine; I must have had some old files left over from last time I played but I hadn't noticed.
