There isn't really 'best in slot' gear in maple to the degree there is in a game like wow, because of the scrolling system. The stats on the item matter, not the item itself. But to answer your question, you'll want to split your funds between a weapon (probably stonetooth?), attack gear (cape, glove, shoe), and then less importantly an oa or top/bot, while gradually farming the untradeables like scar/tar/zak helms, dojo belts, krex/epq rings etc.
Another thing to consider would be what weapon would you prefer? 1h or 2h? If 2h, axe or sword? If sword, stonetooth or claymore? I would say that most heroes would consider the ST since it is the most efficient weapon (in terms of gameplay, available stock in the market, and price) but that could be just my opinion. Would be great to see other heroes weigh in on this
You are correct! I'll still recommend for ST and maybe in late game can sell and get Claymore when u'll get almost always SI from endgame bosses and pro parties

Talking about dpm between axe and swords, is it really that much? Like, let's say a hero can solo zak in 60 minutes with an perfect ST and all buff, how long it'll take for an axe user (1h +shield probly) on the same conditions (full buff, perf weapon) to finish it? 3-4 more minutes? 10?
