I always see posts about HP washing and ran into a few people saying they were currently HP washing. I'm not sure what it is, I THINK it's putting AP in HP then doing something later on so you can take the points out but keep the HP? I currently have a lvl 73 Hermit and am wondering if it would even be worth it and how much it would cost to start since I'm pretty sure at this point it would involve a lot of AP resets.
HP washing is all about getting lots of mp, which you then turn into HP as apparently APRs let you do that. Whenever you level up, the game looks at your int (including from gear), divides by 10, and gives you that much mp (+a few extra depending on your class). So hardcore washing generally is adding a lot of int, leeching to 135, resetting the int, and turning all that mp generated into HP. If this is your first character, it's probably not worth it to wash. Instead you can get hp in other (higher effort) ways. Still though, if you can get some cheap gear that gives int (zakum helm is a top priority if you don't have it yet, bathrobes aren't too bad, gloves and shield tend to cost a lot) and wear it right before you level that would help with HP just a bit later on. You can also add some base int if you're feeling good on damage, but at level 70 you've missed a good amount of time to get mp from extra int, meaning you'll mostly have to rely more on other sources of hp
