What job/class is good? Suggestion please.

Hi there, im new to this and seeking for suggestion for my first class or job @@

 

Start by making a bishop since you can start making money easily as soon as you reach 120 and start selling leechs and so it is probably the best way of making money for a new player ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

Thx for the reply but im quite worry about the training speed @@ since this is old kind maple version, it is hard to train a cleric to 70 and priest to 120 (as well as the genesis quest, genesis book and the most important thing, ITEM!) And im newwwwww, no $$ no sponsor HAHA

 

u can play bishop with pure int, which eq is easily obtainable in game, by using maple eq and elemental wand, dmg is secured, no worries.
other job requires hp wash, which they might not able to leveling through training but only leeching, but mage doesnt included in that.

 

Wow, sounds gooood, but i did do some research and found that mage tma need quite high to reach certain level damage or one hit ko mob @@ but how come the damaged is secured? 0.0 and how to level as a cleric to 70 and change job lol lol

 

u can level as cleric by pq from 35-50 in ludi, and OPQ or Ludi maze PQ to 70 or pirate pq, if u are bored in pq u can train in MP3 or coolie zombies.
Once u get lv120 and gene, u can start to play a main character which deal high dmg on boss with HP wash, and ur lv120 bishop with level 1 gene will be fully utilised by then, i would say after ur main reach lv85 or abv, only ur bishop need more tma to 1 hit higher level mobs, which u need to level ur genesis to lv10 or lv20, or improving ur tma. otherwise.. level 1 gene is good enough during the process

Monster carnival is not up yet, orbis pq might be empty, ludi and ludimaze mostly have pple around, if dont, take a few mins to wait will get u a party

since u are from malaysia too, i would say night will be the most active period for this server, morning is nearly dead, evening will be more active players around, each time zone have different player pools, the best part in this server is u can meet different pple in different time zone.

 

I just started 3 weeks ago. Made a bandit, lvl 140 now, they level extremely fast and can boss very early on. Once you hit lvl 72, you're pretty much good to go. Start farming big foots or grab a priest and head to himes. I did lvl 73-96 in about 4-5 hours and lvl 100 in another hour. You can sell headless horsemen and big foot drops for 50 mil. Or just farm soiled rags for 1 Mil each.

Their equipment is very cheap because it's a hardly played class. You can get dagger scrolls for around 100k. In 3 weeks I've managed to get 140 lvls, over a bil mesos while grinding without leech and decently scroll my character(12att glove,2att cape, 27 att shield etc) while funding new characters.

And you don't have to HP wash them!

For the bottom one, i would like to go for a mage first?@@ since bandit is not my choice and i dont know where to go before lv70!haha after lv70 could be easy since i got my HS xD by the way thx for replying me ya guys!

 

My first choice is bowman but since im new and got no source or support so i changed my mind to mage (since many people want hs) haha

 

Just be prepared to sink a lot of mesos into a bishop. I think genesis 20 is around 1.5bil right now.

For bandit grinding,

1-9 maple island quests(takes about 20 mins).
9-10 olaf the npc in Lilith harbour. Talk to him and then the dark lord to get your last lvl.

10-15 go to NLC and talk to black npc just as you come out of the subway to the right. Answer his questions about maplestory and you hit lvl 15 in about 1 min.

15-20 hidden street to the left of kerning, with the octopus.

20-30 kerning pq

30-35 kpq or go kill the rats below Ludi PQ.

35-4x Ludi PQ

4x-5x trucks in Singapore

5x-70 mp3

You can do it in about a day or two if you got nothing else to do. Then 70-100 takes about 6-8 hours. 100-120 can be quick if you have a priest to do himes meso exploding or funds for big foots.
