Hello dear community members, I am planing on doing a pretty detailed tutorial on how to treat many Installation problems that people encounter by either: 1) Downloading game the first time 2) Upgrading installation files. Therefore, I would like to know which Antivirus software do you use and whether you had to configure the settings for enabling maple royals to run. (Firewall / Auto-Vaulter). Thanks P.s Kaspersky, Norton and Bitdefender had to be tweaked from my experience.
I use mcafee. My solution to bypass the automatic deletion of royals is to turn my real time scanning on & off prior to playing royals. It gets set to reactivating upon restart so I just have to disable until system restart every time I want to play royals. A little bit of hassle but much less annoying then redownloading client all the time
I'm using Bitdefender, may I ask when you will release the Bitdefender first time download guide? I've tried disabling my antivirus and adding it to exceptions but it still has troubles downloading. Thanks!
I personally use “Windows defender”. However, I exclude MapleRoyals (the software and the whole file) to be scanned to prevent crashes / the game to be deleted.
I don't use antivirus... I know I'm pretty much vulnerable but I avoid to get my feet into places I don't know
